Cool crisp air blew through my hair as the night turned cold. I suppressed a shiver, walking down alleyways clouded in darkness with my many teams following from different directions. I came to a halt in a small open space, holding my hand up to halt my men that traveled with me. Stepping forward into the little light cast by the moon. I came face to face with the icyhot bastard himself. "So. You did show up after all. I thought you'd chicken out and run away, you fucker. And if you did, I'd personally crush your skull under my boots." Venom laced my voice, eyes narrowed into glares. The bastard merely scoffed in turn.

"We have a fucking truce, Bakugou. You better keep in. Now, let's go over this plan once more before we end up ruining this whole thing because you didn't give the correct instructions." The icyhot bastard had the nerve to snap at me, his tone harsh like the antarctic blizzards.

I let out a low growl. "Well then, shut the fuck up and listen," I step forwards, shoulders hunched yet squared and fists curled at my sides. "You're dumbass teams surround the place while mine search for a back entrance. Our snipers will start by shooting out all the window, which'll allow us to toss in grenades and smoke bombs. We're not using sleeping gas as it'll affect us as well. And I'm not waiting a fucking eternity to enter. Once the grenades have been tossed, my guys will enter through the back as take down any guys they see. Once the floor is clear, they'll notify your team out the front to come in. They'll scale the building, and while they do that, we'll enter from the roof. We'll crush that puny fucker into the ground. Got it?" The bastard merrily nodded in response, and I let out a threatening growl in turn.

He turned around and motioned for his men to follow him, so I did the same with my men. We headed towards the base, and once near enough, I sent them ahead. I scaled up a building that was close by and latched a grappling hook to the top of the base. I swung myself up there and took place, waiting a few moments for the bastard to join me. Once he was up here, we signalled our snipers to start. The sound of glass shattering broke through the air, as our men started tossing up smoke bombs and grenades into the broken windows. Explosions rang out and my men in the back entered the building. We waited where we were, shoulders tensed up and breathes caught in our throats. It was silent for a few minutes, but it felt like hours as this mission hung low upon our shoulders. Then came the signal. It was to time.

I turned to icyhot and we nodded, heading to the roof entrance that we'd scouted out beforehand. Kicking the door down, we ran in, guns in hand. We rushed around corridor after corridor, finding nobody. "This is too easy. Something's not right. Icyhot! Go left! I'll head on this way. We'll meet up later," I announce, not bothering to wait for a response as I pushed on ahead. I rounded a corner, gun aimed and ready as a bullet flew past my head. I didn't flinch, gripping my pistol tighter and pulled the trigger. A loud 'bang!' rang out and the guy dropped to the floor, blood pooling out around his head. I quickly scanned the room for anything or anyone else, but didn't find anything except a stairwell to the floor below. "This isn't good. It's way too easy. Something it going to happen."

I rushed to the stairwell and aimed my gun in both directions, seeing no one. I took a step onto the first of many, ready for anything to happen. An explosion, a gunshot, even a damn knife or something. But nothing happened. I felt sweat trickle down the back of my neck, my senses alert for anything. I shook off my nerves and ran up the stairs. The loud clunking of my boots against the steel stairs sent shivers down my spine with each step I took. I gulped down a lump in my throat. I reached the floor below me and kicked the door in, gun raised and aimed. Nothing. Letting out a breath I didn't know I was holding, I cautiously stepped forwards. No traps, no men, no nothing. It was very unsettling. All that stood in the hallway was a single door.

I approached it, placing my back against the wall and my ear against the cold metal that shook me to my core. Talking. It was quiet, but the words were definitely there. I took in a deep breath, turning towards the stairwell when I heard some noise. Icyhot came running down, spotting me and rushing over on trained, quiet feet. He pressed himself up against the wall beside me and listened. He faced me, as if to ask, "what are we going to do now?" I didn't have an answer. I strained my hearing, trying to pick up any words, before my ears were filled with the explosion of a gunshot, and then static. It went quiet, but wait... there was... whimpering?

I grabbed the handle, turning it very slowly and carefully as to not make any sound that'd attract unnecessary attention that could get us killed. I pried it open ever so slightly, peering into the room. The first thing I saw was the amount of blood that stained the floor. Second were the bodies that seem to have been tossed around like rag-dolls. Third was the bitch that we were after, being held up by his hair by a figure clad in black that glowed silver in the moonlight that trickled in through the large windows in the room. The figure looked up as if startled, before they turned towards the door. Though their face was covered, it was like they were staring directly at me. No, not at me. Through me.

"Why hello there. How nice of you to join us this evening," There voice was light, almost playful, with an undertone of darkness and threat hidden there. "Do you wish to join us? Or would you rather leave with your lives intact, hmm?"

I'd never experienced terror since I was young. But this, this was as if I were staring at Satan himself. He was absolutely terrifying.

"N-no... just let me go and f-fight them... you needn't get involv-ved in this... they're here f-for me, afterall..." Shinsou muttered, stuttering in between words, but I couldn't tell if it were fear, exhaustion, or something else. Maybe a mix of things. I couldn't blame him though. "Just let me finish them off..."

"Hmm..." The figure tapped their chin, as if in thought, before releasing Shinsou's hair from his tight grasp and patting the guy's head instead. "Nah. I'd rather have some fun with them. I've been wanting to test their real skills for awhile now. So just sit back and relax. You can join me later, ok?" Shinsou merely nodded, crawling back towards the wall and taking cover. The figure then turned to me, beckoning me in with a wave of his hand. "Now then. Bakugou, Todoroki. Come in and let's have a little game, shall we?"
