Yoongi doesn't dislike being part of the student council. It's not really something that takes up a lot of time. Granted, he does have to be early to school and most of the time he has to stay late after class for meetings and whatnot. It's not much of a hassle for him, he does value being punctual and the meetings after school are necessary. He personally thinks it's rewarding, being able to be a part of something that'll benefit the whole student body. Be it planning school events or helping defend student's rights.

Though there is one little part that irks him. One little smidge that puts him in a sour mood. One not so little person named Kim Taehyung.

He's known in the whole school as a troublemaker, one with a devilishly handsome face and an even more renowned smirk. He's almost perpetually smirking and it doesn't fail to grate on Yoongi's nerves. Especially when it's in the early morning as Yoongi, for the nth time, lists down the dress code violations Taehyung had once again broken.

He smirks as though enjoying seeing Yoongi drone on and on about rules and regulations. As though he finds some type of rush in riling Yoongi up. Likes hearing Yoongi prattling on about how this is the 'last warning' although both of them know Yoongi wouldn't actually have him suspended, it is well known that Yoongi is pro-students aside from the teachers and admin that is.

Taehyung has a propensity to go to school with his tie crooked and his dress shirt open. There's also the fact that he doesn't even bother to remove the innumerable piercings in his ears, lip, and tongue. Yoongi, begrudgingly, admits that it looks good on him and he's sort of intrigued whether those piercings hurt when he got them, and sometimes he's tempted to ask how long it took for them to fully heal. But rules are rules and he, as a member of the student council, has to enforce them and at the very least act like he stands by those rules if only to not have the admin on his back.

Yoongi had his litany already memorized, adding a short spill whenever there's something new in the table like a suddenly stark orange hair or a temporary tattoo of something edgy like 'a shadow like me' on his face or another temporary tattoo of inky branch-like appendages on the side of his neck. To be honest Yoongi finds them interesting and there have been more than one instance where he looked forward to Taehyung's new look.

Yoongi stifles a yawn as he greets the students entering the gates. He doesn't have to halt a lot of people in their tracks as most of the student body abide by the rules unlike a certain troublemaker. He shoots up as he spots Taehyung a few meters away, his mouth already forming the familiar words. But then Yoongi notices he's walking slowly, without his usual swagger. It's only when Taehyung is near that he realizes he's limping.
