Chapter 17: Royal Ceremony part 1

The next day Grayson got up and got his gear on, trying not to wake up Cynder, it was 4 in the morning so it was still dark out. He grabbed his helmet but it still had Sombra's blood from the battle all those years ago, he trembled to put the helmet on but dispute that he went out the door. When Grayson was walking down the hall some guards pointed at him and waved.

Some punched him in the holder and said "welcome back bro, it's been awhile hasn't it?"

Grayson responds with confidence "Yeah it has, so you guys know where my next post is?"

One black and brown stallion said "I thought...oh yeah. Celestia told us that if we see you to report to her" the guard said pointing to the throne room. Grayson nodded and headed to the throne room.

Grayson opened the main door, to his surprise Celestia wasn't there. "She must be in her room? I'll check that. She won't mind will she, she's usually up by now." Grayson thought to himself. When Grayson flew up to Celestias room he opened the door to find a beautiful sleeping Alicorn, Celestia likes to sleep on the floor so she doesn't have a bed.

When Grayson slowly opened the door it made loud creeking noises that woke Celestia up. "Grayson why are you up this early? It's fucking 5 in the morning" she said covering her mouth right away.

"Well, I always got up at these times when I was in the Royal guard" Grayson said walking over to her.

"I know this sounds weird but come sleep with me down here. You don't have too you should probably get more rest." Celestia said scooting over.

"Ummm. I don't see why not, I hope Chbder won't mind but yeah." Grayson said taking off his gear.

Grayson got down on the floor with Celestia but her bed was in the floor? Grayson thought it was really comfortable. He put his arm around Celestia and it reminded him how soft Luna was, but he thought that Celestia maybe softer. Celestia giggled and flipped over to look at him and she kissed him on the lips, but she quickly pulled away.

"Umm Tia? What the hell?" Grayson said looking at her.

"I'm so sorry, I still had a thing for you even when you left." Celestia said sitting up and looking down.
"I know it's not very princess of me but, I never loved anyone or kissed anyone for one hundred years." She said looking further down at her hoofs.

"Well it better not happen again." Grayson said pulling her down to the bed. Celestia giggled and put her wing around Grayson as if she was holding him closer. Grayson knew deep in mind that he could have stopped her but it felt so warm, comfortable and even soft. Grayson was beginning to fall for Celestia, and Celestia was falling for Grayson. But they knew better so they kept there feelings a secret.

Later that morning around seven Grayson got up and told Celestia to get up too, Celestia flew down to the throne room and sat in her throne. As Grayson enters in he says "so Tia what's my next job?"

"Your next job Grayson is to guard Lunas things. Because well it's been a place for thieves to steal her stuff and make money off it. We have guards thare too, no one had stolen anything lately, at least what I know of" Celestia said pointing to Lunas room.

"Hey what's wrong Grayson?" Celestia said looking down at him.

"Nothing Tia, I'm just looking at Lunas Throne." Grayson said. After taking a few moments looking at it he took flight and flew to Lunas Room. Guards were standing at the entrance and the doors on the inside too. Grayson walked past them to see inside her room.

"Thanks guys" Grayson said as the guards let him in.

Grayson took a look in her closet to find a ton of beautiful dresses that matched her coat. Grayson found one dress that was standing out from all of them. The night when Grayson and Luna had there first kiss. The dress Luna wore up to the hill to watch the sunset and have a picnic.

Grayson careful grabbed the dress and laid it on her bed, Grayson stood there when a familiar voice came in, it was Cynder.

"Hey babe what are you doing?" Cynder said

"I'm standing guard. But I'm gonna take a little detour" as Grayson thaought about the memories he had with Luna.

Grayson kisses Cynder to get away from the memories.

"Here let's go. Your next shift is in the next five minutes" Cynder said as she watched Grayson put away Lunas dress and closed the closet door.

"Your right lets go, Hey Cynder how do you like the Main six?" Grayson said as he flew down to his next post and signals the guard to switch posts.

"Well like them all it's just there so..." Cynder couldn't say it "what? Happy" Grayson said

"Yeah happy, yes I love it and all but it's just a little weird that's all. Besides our wedding is tomorrow" Cynder said flying back to there room.

"So, Grayson is she the lucky one?" The guard next to Grayson said.

"Yeah she is, she's beautiful isn't she?" Grayson said watching her fly away. The guard nodded and watched a strange, sketchy pony blue walk past. The guard stopped him and the pony walked away.

Grayson caught a glimpse of the pony, that was walking anyway and he stopped him.

"Hey..." the pony said with her voice braking because of tears. The voice is was extremely familiar. It almost sounded like Luna but Grayson didn't mind it, he thought that many ponies could had a similar voice.

After his shift he went to Celestia and said "did they ever find Lunas body?"

"Are you kidding me? You were thare. But that night Lunas body was gone. So they didn't fill the coffin. So that's why the doors were closed on it. But over all no they did not find the body." Tia said almost crying.

"What if she's alive? Celestia, did the moon rise by its self?" Grayson said thinking of something.

"Yeah but I do it so much it feels like nothing as if I was holding up a feather bit sometimes my horn doesn't light up when I do so" Celestia snapped and said.

"Why did you see her?" Celestia said flying down to Grayson.

"Maybe I don't know, a sketchy blue unicorn in a rag hood tried to walk to the throne room but we stopped her. And what was weird is that she started crying when she tried to talk to me" Grayson said but Celestia stepped closer to him. Grayson backed up several steps.

"Wait...did you say 'Her'?" Celestia said looking at Grayson intently.

"I in don't care just stop her and bring her to the throne room" Celestia ordered looking at Lunas throne.
