It was quite busy Saturday night at your workplace, you can't help but to extend your time because the place is packed with customers. You asked your boss if you could just take a break for 30 minutes since your-supposed to be break earlier was consumed by working and reserving seats for customers. You stepped out of the bistro to get some sort of fresh air and just right in time you saw your boyfriend Leo who just crossed the street with his arms wide open ready to hug you.

You ran and just hugged him.
"Mhm. Everything okay?" he asked
"Yeah, just ... a little ..." you said
"tired?" he asked
"Yes." you answered as you sighed
"Bistro is kinda packed, I bet you were asked to extend." he said
"Yeah, they did." you said
"Well, until what time?" he asked
"2 more hours." you answered
"Ahhh. That's fine I can wait, there's a coffee shop beside here anyways. I'll also extend my time." he said and just smiled
"Thank you, I might not be able to drive. I am really tired." you said
"I'll drive." he said
You talked for a few more minutes, you have never felt this safe in your life. You just felt like you were in a safe haven whenever you're with him and you're really happy about that. Just like that, your 30 minutes is over and you went back to work.
The phone won't stop ringing, guests calling in to reserve a table for their family, for a date and such. You keep on answering phone calls and did not notice the time, you checked if there were voicemails left by other guests and you were just glad that there were none. You grabbed your things from your locker and stepped out of the bistro, you saw him just standing there, looking up at the buildings. It's his first time in New York, he lived and worked in Seoul for a very long time.

"I guess all the buildings here in New York are just large as ---" he paused
"Let's go?" he asked
"Let's eat?" you asked
"Sure, honey." he answered
You two held hands while walking within the parking lot of the Bistro, you two work in a totally different field and you were just glad that he took a lot of time off just to see you in New York.
"Are you still going back in Seoul?" you asked
"If I find a gig here then I don't think I should go back there." he answered
"I could find you one." you said
"No, you've already done so much for me. You let me stay on your unit without paying." he said
"I mean .. aren't you my boyfriend?" you asked
"Of course I'd let you live with me." you followed and giggled
"I don't want to get to the point where it's quite ... too much. You know what I mean?" he asked
"You know it's just ... I am used to paying for myself every bills and food. But now I have someone who shares those things to me." he said while squeezing your hand
"Don't get me wrong tho! Honey, I'm glad that we're together." he continued
"I wasn't saying anything." you said and giggled
You just laughed, he really is bothered whenever he is not able to share things like those. He got used with what he was doing in Seoul, he pays for his rent, his own food and other stuff.
"I told you it's okay, you've always been there for me." you answered
"I'll make it up to you, I promise" he said
'When?" you asked giggling
"Right now!" he said as he drove to Houlihan's
You working in local Bistro makes you know several high end steakhouses in New York, you looked at him.
"Are you serious? It's expensive here." you said
"I told you I'd make it up." he said
"Leo, we could've just bought take out and eat it at home." you said
He looked at you and just smiled.
"Honey, you deserve this, you've been working overtime today. You deserve a nice meal." he said
"In fact, you deserve everything." he continued
"That's why, I'm staying here in New York." he said
"How about Seoul? Won't your boss look for you?" you asked
"Nah, they haven't paid us for 4 months. So ..." he answered
"But I have saved so much for you, okay? So don't worry about this steak." he said
"I have saved a lot too you know, sooo." you said
"Well, it's my turn. We will take turns." he said
You looked at him and thanked the heavens for giving you such a wonderful man in your life. He's just adorable in so many ways, you just love every bit of him. He knows how to make you happy, he's the reason why you are still holding on. He is just so sweet and caring. He's basically everything you've wished for.
