It's Monday, as soon as you entered the building you felt the morning air, stranger's silence and their vacant stares. You have been working here for almost a year now and people here still judge you about dating your boyfriend who is actually a famous Veterinarian. You sat to your station and there were garbages, you sighed as you picked it up, stared at thin air thinking and hoping that your shift should just end quickly. You're simply just getting tired of everything.
Your phone lights up, a notification from Kakao Talk that says "Sam ❤️". You opened the message and immediately smiled as the picture pops up.

Sam ❤️: Hey, good morning honey, we miss you. We can't wait for you to come home. Don't forget that you're beautiful and that I love you!
You smiled because it has been really tight in terms of schedule and work loads at your company. It is so tight that you had to stay in an apartment near your workplace making it hard to meet with him. Sammy your boyfriend for almost three years now, you met way back in 2018 in a cat show. You both share the passion for adopting cats and dogs, you get along really well and have similar tastes when it comes to almost everything.
It's been months since you last saw him and the cats & dogs, you have been trying to file a vacation leave but the management dislikes you a lot and disapproves your request most of the time. But today's the day that you'll finally be able to see them because today's the last day of you rendering for resignation.
You finished all the paper works that was asked for you to do. You're already completing all the requirements that was needed for a resigning employee so you could just go, leave, come home and be with your boyfriend. You printed the documents, placed it in a binder as you smiled to the thought of being free from this toxic and insecure environment.
Sammy has been very understanding with your situation, he's not like other guys that you dated who forces you to spend time with them. But with Sammy, it has been pretty different but you're happy with it. He knows you so well to the point that when you're really quiet he would just hug you tight and will stay awake with you even if you don't utter a single word.

You stared at the photo as it is really familiar, you felt like you have been there. You were staring at the photo while walking to the hr office, you stopped and stared at it one more time.
You were right.
It was the waiting area in our workplace for special visitors, you hurried to the hr office and submitted all the requirements that they were asking. Your phone lights up again, another message from him.

You wondered why was he here knowing that he should be at work today, Sam never really failed to always make you happy and make surprised such as this one. You were finally done with hr requirements and quickly headed to the lobby, everyone was looking at you, a sign that he's really here. You entered the waiting room and saw him you ran to him and hugged him tight, you just missed the warmth of his hugs.
"I missed you." he said
"I missed you too ..." you whispered
"so much ..." you continued
You looked at him in the eye and said: "Shouldn't you be at work?"
"Well, Jeffrey wanted to cover for me today and also I know that these people here would be extremely envious if I come and pick you up today." he said
You smiled as you hugged him tight one more time. You knew that him picking you up really has a hidden agenda, you were just glad that he would really come up with such plan to somehow take revenge on the sweetest way possible.
"Won't this make them hate me more?" you asked
He giggled and kissed you on your forehead.
"That's fine, what matters the most right now is that you're finally free from this toxic environment, that they would never be able to break us two and most of all you're still mine." he answered
You walked out of the waiting area, headed to the lobby, everyone was still staring at you but you feel like you just don't care about these judgmental people whispering. Your mind is clouded with the thought of being free from toxicity and finally being with your man.
