swimming - nick austin

Y/n POV:

My boyfriend, Nick Austin and I are up at my cottage just hanging out. We're out in the water swimming, I love the water so I'm swimming around while nick is holding on to a paddle board. He had his chest just on the board, with his arms hanging on, torso down in the water. 

I swam up to the surface and popped up, facing nick grabbing the board. "Hi cutie" he smiled while I wiped the water out of my eyes. "Hey baby" I replied, giggling at how much I loved him. "Come in the waterrr" I dragged out while letting go of the board. "It's cold though.." he said while inhaling through gritted teeth. I laughed and went back under the water, already knowing what I was going to do. 

Nick and I have a very playful relationship. We enjoy pranking each other  every once in a while, but only to a certain extent, nothing major, so I knew he wasn't gonna mind my plan. I swam around a little so he wouldn't expect something, plus I wasn't even sure if my "plan" was gonna work. I swam up behind Nick and hugged him from behind, grabbing his torso. "AHHH noooo you're so cold baby" he said while taking your arms off him. "Hmph" I said walking away from him pretending to be hurt by the lack of hug. I pouted and walked away from him. "Aww no baby come hereeeee" he dragged out as he jogged in the water towards me. Ouuu looks like my plan is gonna work!! I was still pouting when he got to me, he wrapped his arms around me bringing me into a hug. "Better?" He asked. If I said anything I knew I would laugh, so I just smiled up at him cheekily. Nick looked pretty confused but either way I had to act fast. I quickly tightened my grip and said "Hold your breath" I said as I gasped and jumped under water pulling Nick with me. Nick and I were both now underwater so I let go of his waist. I come back up from the water just waiting to see Nick's reaction. 

Nick came up as fast as he could, opened his eyes and looked at me. "Cold, cold, cold." He said visibly tensed. I couldn't help but laughed I mean, my plan worked! "Aw baby do you wanna hug?" I said inching closer to him. "No!" He said as he splashed water towards me. He laughed as the water splashed me. "I'm so gonna get you backkk" Nick said in a teasing tone. I just giggled because my plan had worked and I also knew he was gonna get me back. "Ok bub, I'm going in now because it's freezing." He said with chattering teeth. "Oh you big baby" I sighed as I came in with him.

Nick's POV :

My girlfriend Y/n and I were last in the water around two hours ago. We ate and now we're sitting on the deck, she's tanning, and I'm pretty sure she's asleep. I waited a good 30 minutes to make sure she was actually asleep before I try to get her back. I walk around to the front, where the hose is and a big bucket where they stored cushions and stuff. I emptied it, turned on the water and started to fill up the bucket, making sure the water was cold. I'm sure you can already guess what my pay back is gonna be, and truth be told I kinda feel bad....eh not really it's like the same thing she did to me. Plus, she loves the water. Once the bucket was mainly full, I brought it just before the corner to make sure Y/n was still asleep. I walked over, moved her phone away from where it could get wet, then waved my hand in front of her eyes and went to get the bucket. I quietly crept over to her with the bucket in hands. "Hold your breath" I said like she did earlier as I began to dump the bucket on her.

Y/n POV:

"Hold your breath." I hear my boyfriend say waking me up. "What?" I said groggily. Next thing I know I being doused in freezing cold water. I scream obviously being woken up like this and the instant cold hitting my body. I stand up as quick as I can and get out of the way. I look in front of me to see Nick laughing his ass off. I shot him a nasty glare as he kept laughing. "Aw baby do you wanna hug?" He said mocking me from earlier. "Well...since you offered..." I said dripping wet walking closer to him. "Oh no you don't!" He said starting to run the opposite way. When I eventually caught up to him I grabbed his torso pulling him into a hug. "No! No! You're wet and you're colddd" he said whining. "That's your fault!!" I said laughing. He hugged me back and we just stood there for a second, laughing and enjoying each other's company. "Wanna go swimming?" He said as he pecked my head. "Race ya!" I said running down to the water as fast as I could.
