FEELING THE HARD GROUND BENEATH HER she let out a low groan of pain before she had let her eyes open and she found herself staring up at the moon, the light ball seeming to be the only source lighting up the sky, as she couldn't seem to just pull her forest green eyes away from it for a moment.
Slowly the girl sat up from the ground, to find she was in the middle of some abandoned road completely bare, her hands laid flat against the ground, her pale fingers scraping against the asphalt as she felt out a deep breathe, her own head pounding as all she felt was the thick cold that had surrounded her like it had since the moment that she managed to open her eyes.
She found herself leaning forwards, pushing her body up using just her hands and slowly she stood up from the ground, her own body shivering from the cold air hitting her bare skin. Her long hair flowed down her back as her eyes peered around the dark road before she found herself looking back up at the moon like it had been since a few moments before.
The girl quickly wrapped her arms around her body in attempt to warm herself up, went she felt a gush of wind hit her and she had quickly turned around only to find a boy with light brown hair, and green eyes a few feet away from and she let out a small gasp at the sight of him alone, his sudden appearance scaring her.
"What are you doing out here?" The boy asked her, and she stared back at him as her bottom lip trembled for a moment and a shaky breathe escaped her plump lips as he had slowly walked closer to the girl but soon stopped short when his eye caught sight of something that she did not even notice herself. "Woah, are you okay?"
She gave him a look of confusion, and he had moved her bright red hair out of the way only to reveal that two spots were indented into her neck as blood had leaked down to her neck and throat, as dry blood had covered her shoulders and the boy gulped down thickly as he looked back up at the girls confused green eyes.
"Sorry," he apologized as the girl shivered in the cold and took off his black leather jacket before putting it onto the girls frail body and wrapping it around her so that she could have some kind of warmth and at least some of her was covered and she watched him closely. "So, you never told me, what exactly are you doing out here?"
"I don't... I don't know."
his eyebrows furrowed at her words, but stopped himself from saying anything about it as he stare back into the girls confused forest green eyes. "uh, what is your name?"
"i, uh, i don't know" the girl stuttered in confusion as she searched her mind for any bit of information about herself but nothing had seemed to come to mind.
"and how exactly did, this, happen?" he asked, as his finger gently traced across her neck and a shiver had went up the red heads spine.
"i don't remember." she whispered and the boys hands dropped to his side, finding himself staring back into her emotional eyes, as he knew that it was void of knowledge.
"do you remember anything?" he asked her, and she furrowed her eyebrows for a moment as she took in a deep breathe, and tears swelled in her eyes.
"no." she replied as she gulped down thickly and looked away from the boy for a moment.
he frowned at her actions for a moment as he stared back at her but he soon found himself freezing as the sight of headlights in the distance.
"listen to me, your name is serena, you will remember your past when your meant to, and you won't remember meeting me tonight. we never met." he said looking deep into the girls eyes, and she found herself staring back into his eyes, unable to look away from his hypnotic eyes.
"we never met" she murmured as a small breathe escaped her lips and he quickly turned around to see the car was getting closer and the girls eyes fluttered shut for a moment and when she opened them again the boy was gone and she was left even more confused than before.
the bright glare of headlights filled her eyesight and she quickly shielded her eyes with her hand, as the car car stopped and a small, blonde, women stepped out of the car and quickly walked closer to the scene.
"are you okay? do you remember what happened to you?" she asked the girl in concern.
"i don't remember anything." the red headed girl said somberly, and the woman's lips parted as she slowly moved closer to her causing her to take a step back and the women let out a sigh.
"come with me, you can trust me, i promise." she told her.
the girl looked back at the women's hands for a moment, before meeting her gaze again and slowly taking her hand as a deep breath left her lips and the woman smiled lightly at her.
"my name is liz," the women told her, and the girl looked back at her.
"im serena." she spoke lowly.
