I flinched when I heard someone growl and spit out a very venomous, "WHAT"? _________________________________________
No one POV
"N, calm down darling", said Jupiter, in a calm voice, to I'm assuming Neptune.
I saw Zeus come over and rub Neptune's back to calm him down. I wish I had people that cared about me like that.
" Liam, is this why you wanted to stay. Because of your father? ", Hades calmly asked.
" Yea, it's just I really don't feel like getting more bruises to add to the new ones and I have no where else to go, so I just thought that since we were 'mates' and all that I can stay", I said quietly as I keep my head down scared of their answer.
I felt a finger lift up my chin and I'm staring into the dark orbs that is Jupiter's eyes. "Of course you can stay with us, sweetheart. You are our mate and it's our job to protect and take care of you", he stated with a soft smile set on his features.
Do they care that much for me? A weak, useless, and abused boy who is going nowhere in life. They are all strong, successful men who could have anyone they want, so why me? Am I really enough for them?
So I asked.
I started to tear up again as I began to speak, more like stutter. " I-it's j-just that, I-i'm.. Am I enough? ", I whispered at a barely audible tone. I got the courage to look up when I didn't hear an answer. And when I did, I saw all of them with either a confused or angry look on their 'perfect' faces.
'I knew it was too good to be true. I'm not good enough and their just to nice to say anything. '
" I-I'm sorry,... I-I'm, I'm sorry", said as I grabbed my stuff and raced out of the room before any of my 'mates' could react.
I ran as fast as I could and didn't look back because I was afraid of what they would do or say. That was until I stopped at the elevator to catch my breath. 'Seriously my cardio sucks. I would be the first one to die in anything. ' I was about to press the button to go down when my waist was grabbed and I was turned around.
I slowly look up to Hermes who was staring down with dark eyes locked on mine. I am cased between his arm/body and the wall.

I look over his shoulder to see the rest of my 'mates' with the same dark look. I snap my eyes back when I feel Hermes move closer 'if that's even possible' and begin to talk.
" I'm going to say this one time and one time only, darling, so remember it. You were picked by the Moon Goddess herself to be with us, as were the rest of us to be with each other. We are all equal with each other and love each other unconditionally. You may have just been introduced into our lives but you are already our world, little one. We have waited so long for you and you are more than enough for us. So stop doubting yourself ok, please", he said as he looked at me with love and passion.
I felt my heart start to beat out of my chest as my face becomes flushed. I left a small 'ok' as a response to his confession.
Before I know it, I feel soft but strong lips connect with mine and my eyes widen. 'My mate was kissing me for the first time and it felt weird but I liked it'. My brain was telling me to pull away but the rest of me was saying kiss back.
Like something inside me suddenly took control, I hooked my arms around his neck and deepened the kiss. When I did I felt sparks fly through me like this was where I was supposed to be, with them.
This lasted for a minute before we heard someone clear their throat and I jumped pulling away from Hermes but staying in his warm embrace.
I looked up to see Hermes with a smug look on his face, where as I was completely embarrassed. I look up to see the rest of my mates with smirks on their faces.
"Will you guys stop staring, please? ", I asked, feeling squirmy under their heated gazes.
Dionysus chuckled, " Sorry, little one, but you are so cute when you are all flustered ", he said with a mischievous tone. I heard the rest of them chuckle at my flushed face and Dionysus' comment.
'I can't believe they have the audacity to tease me like that' 😏
" Alright guys, as much as I enjoy this, it's time to go home, so let's pack up and go, my darlings," said Jupiter.
The guys all nodded in agreement and went to go grab their things to leave as I waited by the elevator.
When they returned we all got in the elevator and headed towards the first floor. On the ride down, I felt someone snake a possessive arm around my waist. I look over to see it was Zeus and he was smiling down at me. I smiled back as the elevator dinged and we made our way towards the main doors.
As we were walking, I could feel the mixed stares of disgust, jealousy, envy, and lust from the employees. This made me self-conscious and I started to pull away from Zeus trying to get away from their stares. Although, Zeus tightened his grip and gave my waist a reassuring squeeze. At this, I slightly relaxed and took a deep breath to calm my nerves.
When we finally made it out the doors and towards the car, Jupiter suddenly stopped and turned to face me.
"If it's alright with you sweetheart, we would like to stop by your house to get your things since you will be staying with us", Jupiter asked as the rest of my mates got into the car.
I nodded being ok with it, until registered what he said and I froze.
I gasped, 'We are going to my house, where my dad mostly like is waiting for me to beat my ass'. 'Oh no'.
