A/N: Play the music for more feels!

Kim Jisoo.

"Ouch!" I heard Taehyung yelp as I splashed him with the dishwashing liquid. It's his fault, he shouldn't have surprised me like that. I was laughing out so loud when he suddenly started rubbing his eyes which made me panic.

He went near the sink to wash his eyes. I just stood there quietly, waiting for him to finish up because I felt guilty about what I did.

"I'm sorr—" He suddenly splashed water all over me, making me wet again. I glared at him and started splashing him with water too.

"I'm the god of water!" Taehyung started doing weird hand movements while holding a glass of water to pour over me.

"Game on!" I also grabbed a glass full of water and a plate as my shield. He was taller than me so it was a disadvantage since he can wet my hair easily.

We ran around the whole kitchen, chasing each other like children on a playground. I was running towards him when I realized that he was smiling so widely, as if he doesn't have a problem. I stopped running when I suddenly felt a tear drop on my cheek.

This is the life I've always dreamed about. This is the life we've always dreamed to have.

"Are you conceding defeat already? If so, then I win!" He jumped like a kid but stopped when he saw me tearing up. He went near me and started examining my face.

"Why are you crying?" He caressed my hair and gave me a worried look. I shook my head and wiped my tears. At least now I'm tearing up because of tears of joy.

I kept my head down when I suddenly thought of something. I smirked at the thought.

"What do you mean you win? I always win!" I said and his expression changed when I splashed water all over his face.

I ran as fast as I could since he was planning to get revenge on me.

"Catch me if you can!" I shouted panting, as if there was a serial killer on the loose.

"I know where you are." Taehyung said. I could hear his footsteps getting closer and closer.

I was hiding in our room upstairs when all of a sudden, I heard a loud thud. I stopped running and ran back to the kitchen, I stopped on my way when I saw Taehyung on the stairs with his eyes closed.

I think he fell while running upstairs. Shit! I immediately checked his head for signs of blood and luckily, there were none. What if he has a concussion or internal bleeding?

"Got you!" He stated while laughing so hard while pointing at my face. He looked so light and happy which made me smile but I quickly hid it since I want him to think that I'm mad.

"Hey, are you mad at me?" He grabbed me by the shoulder but I just glared at him. I rolled my eyes and stood up when he grabbed my hand and made me sit down on the stairs.

"Come here, my love." He opened his arms widely, waiting for me to hug him but of course since I was playing hard to get, I looked away, pretending I wasn't interested.

I heard him chuckle before pulling me in a tight hug. I buried my face on his chest, hiding my wide smile since I didn't want him to be full of himself. I know that if he saw me smile, he would brag about how I can't resist his charms.

I laughed at the thought. We act like teenagers in love. He also laughed for no reason at all. I looked at him, wondering why he was laughing. He shrugged his shoulders as an answer. We stared at each other for a good second, then we both bursted out laughing.

We're both weird. It's just what we both needed in our boring lives. All through my life I've been taught by my parents that I should be elegant, demure, and well-behaved because I'm the heiress of our company. I didn't want the position but of course, I have no choice but to obey.

I suddenly remembered the night me and Taehyung met.

One night, I went to a birthday party of my dad's business partner or should I say, rival, since he was planning to betray them. Our rivals were the Kim's aka Taehyung's family.

I felt suffocated, trying to please everyone during that party. It was tiring. I needed to get some fresh air and that's when I saw him dancing weirdly, which is odd since he's the son of my dad's rival. I expected him to be more intimidating.

Kim Taehyung. I thought to myself as I approached him.

I'm glad I talked to him that day. And little did I know that he'll save me from my hideous life.

Admit it, we all have a certain someone or something that makes us forget about our cruel reality once in a while.

For me, it's him.
