Somewhere along the rain

Looking back

It was not easy for her but Andy slowly tried to pick up herself and removed Ray from her everyday routine until she was able to cope up with the help of her friends and keeping herself busy from work. Few years went by and Andy is now happy with everything that's happening to her. She's now successful with her career. Although there is still that fear of trying to open her door again but at least there is progress in fixing herself again.

On a normal day. Andy would just go straight home except for Fridays if her friends would invite her to go out. But surprisingly, it was Friday where she got no invitation so she decided to treat herself instead and tried to dine at a new Italian resto just walking distance from her place.

It was a small but very pleasant place. The staff were friendly and the food were really great. Since the place is new, the waiter that accommodated Andy asked if she can answer the survey that would not take long. "Sure!" Andy happily said to the waiter. When Andy was done with the survey, the waiter said after looking at the sheet, "Thank you, Ma'am. This will help improve our resto. I'm pretty sure our manager will appreciate it". When he was about to go back to the counter, Andy was a bit curious who the manager was and with a moderate voice, "I'm sorry, who's your manager by the way?" Andy added. The waiter turn his back and said, "It's Ray, Ma'am. Sir Ray Gomez". Andy was speechless and after she finished her food, she already left the resto.
She crossed the street and look at the resto from afar.

A bit strange she felt, Andy heard again his name for a very long time. Then she remembered that Ray was also once a waiter at an Italian Resto. When she checked her phone to see time and day it is, it showed 7:30 PM, December 12, 2016. Same day 5 years ago when Andy and Ray met for the first time. Rain started falling and Andy started walking with a smile on her face.
