Sara brought Destiny back to the Waverider, Ray looked up and smiled as she walked up to him.
"You alright?"
"Yeah, I needed to do that. My dad was well loved and respected."
"Destiny, if you ever want to know more I can tell you more. Ollie was someone that when he returned to Star City he saw a need but his need was vengeance and then he became the hero we needed. You were the missing piece he needed. He will always be in your heart and memories."
"I know. I just I wanted my dad."
"Ray, go see if you can get everyone ready we are returning to the time stream."
"Right away." Ray said heading down the hall looking for everyone.
"Where are we going?"
"There was once a time where we found Oliver. Let's see after all of this was reset, if the world still exists."
Sara had to admit it was a stretch, then she thought of a safe time to take her to. The very year they had left 2016.
"Sara, where are we headed?"
"Gideon head us to Star City 2016."
"Yes Captain Lance."
Destiny was still very confused sat there and watched as they landed on a roof.
"Cloak the ship Gideon."
"Yes Captain."
"Come on Destiny." Sara said leading her off the ship. Destiny was confused as they entered the elevator heading into a hideout of sorts. The doors opened and everyone in the room turned toward the two guests.
"Sara, I thought you had left."
"I did, but I brought someone to see you." Sara said stepping aside.
"Destiny?"
"Hi dad." Destiny said looking at him. Oliver moved over to her and hugged her.
"Where did you find her?" Oliver asked Sara.
"We found her in the 1800s over three years ago."
"Three years?"
"We came back in time. Oliver she needed to see you."
"Dad please listen. I needed to see you, I couldn't keep moving through time. I needed just to see you."
"Well you've always been able to come home, and will always be able to come home."
"I know, I know that you will always remember me."
"Destiny, can you stay longer?"
"I wish we could. Just I wanted."
"I understand. I love you kid."
"I love you too dad." Destiny hugged him and followed Sara from the room. Sara looked at Destiny, and hugged her.
"Did that help a little?"
"Yes, thank you Sara."
Ray turned as they walked onto the bridge some time later.
"How did it go."
"The closure I needed. Hes alive in this time I can handle that."
"Good." Ray hugged her.
"If its alright I am going to go back to our quarters Ray."
"Sure. Want me to come along?"
"I need to be alone." Destiny said smiling, she turned and walked down the hall to her quarters. She entered the room, and finally let the tears roll down her cheeks. Destiny started to sob and items in the room began to fly off the shelves. Mick walked past and ducked as something flew from the room.
"Haircut you are needed at your quarters."
"On my way."
Ray looked around as he came down the hall, he could feel the ship shake, he looked up and hurried. He came to a stop as an item from their quarters came flying out.
"What is going on?"
"It seems she didnt handle something."
"I thought Sara taking her to see him would help. Go get Sara, we need to get Oliver on this ship."
Ray walked into his quarters and ducked as something else flew.
"Destiny, you need to calm down, your going to rip the ship apart." He said calmly to her. Destiny turned and looked at him, her eyes red instead their usual color, Ray prayed he could calm her down without Oliver.
"Please calm down. Destiny your going to kill us all."
He could see it was as if her mind was gone.
"Dr. Palmer, Captain Lance just returned to the Waverider."
"Good and thank you Gideon."
Ray backed from the room and waited he turned to see Sara walking toward him with Oliver.
"Ok I am confused as to why I am here."
"She is." Ray said pointing toward Destiny.
"Have you tried to calm her?"
"Yes, I half expected to be tossed from the room. Sara you might want to tell him why."
"Sara?"
"The time we came from you had been killed. Gave your life to save everyone. She hasn't handled it well. I brought her here so at least she could talk to you, even if it was short. But Ollie I didn't think she was hurt this bad."
"Let me try." Oliver said walking into the room.
"Destiny, look at me. You need to calm down. I'm sorry I left you." He said hoping to calm her. Destiny turned and looked at him, he could see blood red tears rolling down her cheeks.
"Come here." He said holding his arms open to her, Destiny stood and moved to him, he wrapped his arms around her and felt the difference in the the room.
"I heard where you had last seen me I died. Did I give my life for a good reason?" He asked her.
"Yes, but when things changed everyone but Sara and Ray knew you had died and hoped I didn't remember. But I did, I remembered."
"I know, Destiny look at me. I have lived a full life, helped so many people, helped you. Even now knowing you are alive makes my life complete. Never morn my death, celebrate my life. Ok?"
"Yeah, but I lost so much when I had no memory and when I finally get it back, I lose my father."
"You will never truly lose me. Remember that. Are you going to be alright?"
"Yeah I think I will now."
"Always remember to seek strength from your friends and your love for Ray and my memory. It will keep you centered and in control."
"Thank you dad."
"You're welcome, now Ray take good care of my kid."
"You know I always will." Ray said looking at Destiny.
"We all will Ollie, always."
"Good then I will leave her in your capable hands. If you ever need me again Destiny, Sara can bring you back to this time. Alright?"
"Alright." She said kissing his cheek, she moved over to Ray.
"Come on Ollie I'll take you back."
Ray and Destiny watched them leave the hall.
"I'm sorry Gideon, did I do any major damage?"
"No Miss Queen you did not. It's good to see you calmer."
"Thank you Gideon. And I thank you Ray."
"I will always be here to help you no matter what." He said kissing her softly. She reached up and deepened the kiss, she pulled back and just hugged him.
