Chapter 2. The interview

Sabrina's POV

"Let's get started, shall we?" The man said with a smirk.

Suddenly it all started to make sense.
"You're the boss..?" I said.

"Yes, My name is Nate forester. I own the place." He says looking through papers.

"Now. Ms. Pines. It says here your applying to be a secretary?"

"Yes, that's correct." I say kind of quiet. It took me a while to get myself back together after this big surprise.

He just looks at me. This guy has a huge staring problem.

"It says here you just recently moved to New York from California..why did you leave so sudden?" He says,

I didn't really expect this question. I knew the answer. But I didn't want anybody else knowing. I moved to get away from it. And now this interview is reminding me.

"Uhm..I just wanted a change." I said. Wanting to change the subject.

"Right.." he said standing up from his chair and walking closer to me.

He sits on his desk right in front of me
"Ms Pines. It seems to me like you're hiding something." He says,
Again looking at me as if he's trying to read me.

"I-"

"Never mind. It makes you intresting." He says going to sit back down.

"I'm..intresting?" I say very confused.

"Yes, I am very interested in you.." he says with a smirk.

If I didn't know any better I'd say he was flirting with me. But of course not. He might be my boss.

"You'll start tommorow. You should start at 9 am. But I expect you to be here by 8:45. Understood?" He says while shifting through papers.

"Wait, I got the job??" I say. I really didn't expect it to go this way. He barley asked any questions..

"Yes, you've got the job. Now go before I change my mind." He says with a rude tone.

I get up and head to the door. Before I open it I say a quick "thank you" and make my way to the exit.

Maybe New York like won't be that bad.
