The clouds parted
And down descended
An angel with wings
Of pure white snow
The sunlight illuminated
The halo on his head
And lit up his face
Made him glow with divine beauty
He alighted upon fresh green grass
Bordering the meandering path
That led up to the beautiful house
And to the lady who lived there
He entered the house
A grin on his face
The lady looked in alarm
At the stranger in her house
"I am an angel", he said
"You don't have to be afraid"
He walked up to her
And thrust his blade in
"I am an angel", he said
He flew away
His eyes and soul at peace
He flew away
His wings stained with red
"I am an angel", he said
