I woke up to a knife
Pointed at my eyeball
The man holding the weapon
A cold blooded killer
My eylids froze
Incapable of blinking
My heart stopped
I held my breath
Before I could utter a cry
Before I could scream for help
Before I could defend myself
In a millisecond
Without hesitation
He drove the blade through my eye
And through my brain
I was dead before i hit the bed
I woke up screaming
Covered in sweat
My heart racing
My eyes unblinking
Just a nightmare
I said to myself
The very next moment
Out of the black of the night
I saw with horror
A knife pointed at my eye
