Harrys heart stopped.

Kiss Malfoy? I can't!

"What?! No, I am not kissing Malfoy! I don't want to!" Harry half yelled. He looked over to Hermione for help, but she simply just shrugged. Harry gave her an incredulous look and felt slightly betrayed by his best friend.

"Too bad, Potter, because you're kissing him whether you want to or not" Pansy drawled.

Harry shot her a glare and looked at the others in the circle. Most of them simply looked shocked whilst others seemed to be interested by the concept of this dare. His eyes fell on a particular blonde, who face was filled with horror due to what Pansy had just dared Harry to do to him. (that makes it sound a lot dirtier than it actually is lmao).

"You're not making me kiss Potter." He spat the name in revulsion, and looked at his best friend who had set the dare.

"As i said to Potter, too bad" she said it with a smirk, which was some how growing bigger by the second. Draco glared at her.

Ginny was furious. How dare Parkinson tell Harry to kiss that stupid piece of shit? Harry is SO much better than him. Harry deserves someone good, like me.

"No! Harry shouldn't have to kiss, that, that waste of a person!" Shouted Ginny, graining everyones attention. This made Pansys smirk drop from her face instantly. Harry stared at her in shock from the insult.

Yeah, I don't want to kiss Malfoy, but that was a bit too far calling him that.

"Weasley!" Pansy shouted at the same time as Hermione shouted "Ginny!"

"Pans it's fine..." Draco tried to calm her down but it was useless.

"No Draco, it's not!" Pansy yelled.

Harry couldn't help but agree with her. He looked over to the blonde Slytherin and saw hurt on his face, but he was trying to cover it up.

"Ginny don't call people that. I know you were trying to help me but that's too far." Harry said in a calm tone.

Many people looked shocked at Harry speaking up to defend his so called 'enemy' but a select few, including Pansy, Blaise and Hermione, looked almost proud of him for saying that.

Ginny stared at Harry wide eyed."I was helping you Harry, why are you defending him?" She said in a baby-like tone, that really irritated Harry.

"I appereciate you trying to help, but don't help me by insulting others."

Ginny rolled her eyes and looked away from Harry, suddenly finding the floor very interesting.

Harry looked around at everyone else, who were now all staring at the two.

"Um..." Harry started, trying to break the awkward silence that loomed over them all. Harry unconsciously looked over to Malfoy who was also looking back at him with slight shock evident on his face.

After a few moments, Pansy spoke, breaking the second silence, "Okay, moving on from Weasleys comment-" she shot a glare towards Ginny, "- you two still need to do the dare."

It was when she said this, that Harry realised he felt a sharp pain, stabbing away on his left leg and he shifted it uncomfortably.

"But..." Harry tried.

"Just kiss him already!" Pansy said impatiently.

Harry heard Ron murmer "Bad luck mate".

Harry glanced over to Draco, who also looked very hesitant.
