Reunite

Link's POV

It's been almost a month since i first encountered (Y/N). I've been meeting him more and more in my missions. Most of the time he would beat me in combat but he never killed me, and i get the feeling that he doesnt want to do this.

There is somethin else too, everytime i meet him, he seems to get more and more... dead. Not in the physical sense but more to the emotional dead. He looked lifeless, he bore less emotion and i could swear his skin was starting to turn gray.

Tyra has also been helping me, so far she hasn't met (Y/N) face-to-face. Either from fear... or guilt.

I am now riding on Epona with Tyra riding on her horse alongside me. We had info on Ganon's whereabouts, it seems that Ganon is trying to unlock the power of something called 'The Mire' which is a crystal that links this world to the realm of magic.

Tyra told me that the crystal was protected by an ancient queen by sealing it away in a hidden place. But A wizard who worked for the queen than wrote the details in his spell book which is protected using a force-field, but now Ganon is trying to break through and get it.

A few minutes past and we made it to the location, a decolite ruin guarded by Ganon's soldiers. And in the middle, we saw a book which- i assume is what we were looking for, floating in midair with Ganon standing beside (Y/N) who seems to be casting a spell at the book's bubble-like forcefield.

Tyra and i jumped off of our horses and redied ourselves for combat. I pulled out my sword and Tyra redied her bow. I waited for the cue... she fired! The arrow flew and hit one of the Bokoblins, electricity began to chain it's way to the others and they were all stunned. I took this as an opening and charged towards them, finishing them all off while still stunned.

The battle continued, as we get closer, stronger soldiers were being sent our way, but we managed to push through and made it to the center where Ganon and (Y/N) are.

Ganon was the only one to turn to look at us as (Y/N) is still focusing on the book. I gripped my sword tighter and redied myself to fight.

Tyra then walked forward a few steps until she was infront of me, i lowered my guard slightly but still kept my defensive stance.

Tyra "It's been a long time... Ganon."

She said Ganon's name with such hatred that i can feel it.

Ganon "Well well... if it isn't the traitorous Queen, Tyra... how have you been?"

Tyra "You know why im here, Ganon."

Ganon "Enlighten me, i see no reason for you to be here other than to hinder me."

Tyra "I want my son back!"

Ganon "What? Who are you talking about? This boy... is MY son..." Ganon laughed sinisterly, as if he knows what she's refering. Im sure Ganon did something to (Y/N) to change him.

Tyra then looked ashamed, her eyes looked slightly to the ground before reverting back to meet Ganon's.

Ganon "this is pointless. You will not acomplish anything here..."

Ganon charged toward Tyra wiyh his sword drawn and slashed at her, but before the blade could land, i blocked it with my own and held him in place.

Link "I got this! Go to (Y/N)!"

Tyra then nodded and ran to (Y/N) as i kept the stance against Ganon.

Ganon "Don't let her grab the book! You know what happens when you fail me!!"

(Y/N) "...yes....father...."

(Y/N) turned around and i finaly saw his face. His eyes were dead, lifeless. He was devoid of emotion. I didn't see the anger from when i first faught him. What has Ganon done to him?
