Chapter 17: Truth and Confrontation

(One week later)

Alexa and Ryan were dating for over two months, and the Goddess was all happy. She was having a dinner date with Ryan at a local steak house, and she was trying to have a good time, but her mind and heart were once again at odds while she recalled some critical memories.

Y/N: Alexa, believe me, this jerk is using girls including yourself to boost his popularity

Erin: if you don't want to believe me, Mike or Nessie about Ryan; then I think it's best that you look it up yourself to get the clear picture

Y/N: you're gonna believe this lying asshole than your honest boyfriend?!

The Goddess stared at her food until she was snapped back to reality by Ryan.

Ryan: Lex babe, anything wrong?

Alex: huh? No, it's fine, I'm okay

Their date was done and Ryan dropped Alexa at her house. As the Goddess got inside, she stared at her laptop that was on the coffee table.

Alexa turned on the laptop and searched up Ryan's past relationships. The Goddess saw the article mentioning Audrina Patridge and her relationship with the singer. She put her hand over her mouth as she read through the article when Audrina mentioned she had doubts of Ryan cheating.

Then Alexa went on another article still focusing on Audrina, but the article talks on the shooting of the fake romantic scenes for their reality TV show with Patridge confessing that they only got back together just to get people to watch their show.

Alexa: oh my god... Y/N was right... I'm so stupid!

Tears fell from her eyes as the truth was revealed right in front of her, that Ryan Cabrera used his relationships to boost his popularity.

Alexa: what have I done?

Alexa stared at the screen deeply.

Alexa: I'll go talk to Y/N tomorrow, yeah that's it

With her plan set, she went to bed to get some sleep.

(The next day)

Alexa woke up feeling refreshed and was full of hope because she'll be visiting Y/N later, but what the Goddess doesn't know is the pure fan's different location. She got a text from Ryan saying he is gonna be at rehearsals in which she replied okay.

The Goddess showered and put on some casual clothes and left her house to visit Y/N.

(10 minutes later)

Alexa pulled up to Y/N's neighborhood, but noticed that his car wasn't there.

Alexa: maybe he's working right now

The Goddess then parked in front of Mike and Nessie's house. She walked up and knocked on the door to see Nessie opening it.

Nessie: Alexa, what brings you here?

Alexa: well I'm bored at my house, so I decided to come for a visit

Nessie: of course, come on in

Alexa: thanks

The Goddess went inside to see Mike playing on his PS4.

Mike: oh hey Lex

Alexa: what time does Y/N finish work?

Nessie: why?

Alexa: I want to talk to him and apologize

Mike: uh Lex, Y/N's not working today
