Hi guys! I just wanted you guys to know that I'm a complete amateur at this and I hope you guys could read on and enjoy :) This story will only be in Elena's POV. But if you'd want to know Wren's POV, I'd gladly make it for you guys :)

Well, I'm beat. It's really hard being me... Oh what am I saying. It's killing me. Non-stop cheer-leading practices, having to pretend to be someone I'm not just to fit in, even intimidating nice people I'd rather be friends with... I'm tired of it all. I just want to be a normal girl, with normal friends. Only, I can't. I can never be that kind of girl. But I'd rather put on an act and appear as a bitch to everyone than go back to where I was. I can't go back. I just can't... Here I go again, reminiscing the past. I should stop. I'll just watch the news.
*There has been once again killings on Rosewood Street. A girl, around 19 years old lies dead on the floor, as cold as ice. This has been the 12th killing in Montgomery for the last few months. The police are trying their hardest to catch the serial killer, and gives warning to everyone, especially girls, ages 17-20, to avoid walking alone on Rosewood Street in the middle of the night. This is Helen Clarke, reporting fo--*
E: "Another killing? This is kind of creeping me out. I hope the killer gets caught soon."
I was about to go out and buy my groceries when my phone rang.
E: "Hello?"
J: "Elena? Is this you? A-a-are you alright? Did you watch the news?"
E: "Yes, Jane. I heard. I'm alright, I'm fine. Nothing's gonna happen to me, okay? Relax."Ugh. Talk about an overprotective bestfriend. Well, we have been friends for as long as I can remember. Only, I can't really "hang out" with her. Especially not in school. No. Everyone thinks that she's a nerd and a loser. I can't hang with someone like her. Not if I value my position. And I do. More than anything.
J: "How can you say that? You're house is at Rosewood Street!"
E: "Come on, Jane. I'm pretty sure I can handle myself."
J: "But what if he has a gun?"
E: "None of his victims were shot, Jane."Makes me wonder how they died, though.
J: "And so? You think that's going to save you? Why don't you just live with me, Elena? It's much safer here. We have an extra room, and my parents won't even mind!"
E: "Jane, no. I'm good here, really. But thanks for the offer, though! I really have to go, I'm kinda running low on food here. Bye, Jane."
J: "Elena, no! It's not safe! Ele--"Sheesh. She really doesn't shut up. She's obviously freaking out and overreacting. It's not like something's going to happen to me, right?
Right?
