Henry's pov.
I got home and decided to put all the stuff that happened today at work out of my mind I had to pick Amy up by seven and its already 6:15. I got into the shower, had my bath and did all my stuffs. then came the trouble of deciding what to wear I was torn between dark plane jeans and a hoodie or my usual flannel shirt and pants. I Wonder how girls make these decisions. I was awoken from my bed of thought by a loud, beautiful laugh I would recognize anywhere. "Charlotte". I rush downstairs, forgetting I only had a towel around my waist. I felt my heart beat faster as I saw Charlotte,Piper and a few other girls laughing with their hands on their stomach. one of the girls saw me and stood stunned then the rest of the girls turn around with the same look on their face. I was surprised why are they looking at me with those faces, then I heard Piper screaming.

H:why are you screaming?

P:ew! Henry go put on some clothes.

H:What!

that's when I realized I had no clothes on. I rushed upstairs and immediately slammed the door. I could hear Piper saying she felt like throwing up and the other girls giggling." Stupid! Stupid!" I signed and got back to preparing for my date. and I realized I was stuck with the same problem as before, I'm not going back there so I texted Charlotte.

Char bear💕:please come upstairs, I need help.
Sent.

Charlotte's pov.
Piper had i invited some of her friends to keep us company. we made popcorns and turned on the TV. To watch"love maybe" we were so engrossed in the movie that we didn't notice Henry walk in. he left and went upstairs. Then Piper friends started making funny faces and soon we were all rolling on our stomach with Laughter. Then immediately one of the girls stood stunned with a dreamy look on her face. Soon the others turned around and had the Same look on their faces. I turn around to see Henry shirtless With a towel around his waist. I was shocked at first then stunned as I let his toned abs hit me. I could swear I was drooling! All I wanted at that moment was to hold myself so close to those abs. I was awoken from my bed of thought by a loud scream then I see Henry rush upstairs and slammed his door. he must have felt embarrassed. Then one of the girls Gabby spoke.

G:Charlotte, you're so lucky. you have him all to yourself.

(Let's pretend Piper is a little bit older here.)

C:what?

Another girl Marla spoke up.

M:yeah, if I had a boyfriend like Henry I would be the luckiest girl in the world.

C:hold up!Henry and I are not dating!

G:really? Then I have a chance with him.

Before I could reply,Piper spoke up.

P:how 'bout you focus on your own boyfriend and leave Charlotte's alone.

G:but she said they were not dating.

P:yet.

Then my phone beeped, I open it and saw a text from Henry.

Hen😊💝:please come upstairs I need help.

I got up to leave.

P:where're you going?

C:Henry needs my help upstairs.

She grinned and nodded. what does that mean? I head upstairs and I could hear Piper and the girls giggling. I knocked on the door and immediately Henry pulled me In.

H:char I have a big problem.

C:what Is it?

I asked a bit scared.

H:I can't decide what to wear for my date.

I signed a feeling of relief watched over me then the feeling of hurt and regret. If I had just told him I liked him, he would be going on a date with me and not Amy.

H:Charlotte.

His voice brought me back to reality.

C:huh?

H:are you okay? You zoned out for a second there.

C:am fine.

H:you sure.

C:yeah, now let's get back to the problem at hand.

I said with a faked smile. I'm sure Henry saw but chose to  ignore it.

C:let's see..

I said analyzing both outfits.

C:I think I like this one best.

I said pointing to his usual flannel shirt and pants.

H:yeah me too. Thanks char.

He said hugging me. I felt my heart explode. "keep it together char" we break apart and I immediately missed his warm body against mine.

H:okay now, I'll get changed thanks char.

I turn to leave.

H:one more thing char, I love you.

C:love you too,Hen.

He goes into the bathroom to change and I turn to leave again my heart threatening to explode inside my chest"he only said that as a friend,he only said that as a friend" I reassured my self while walking down the stairs.

Henry's pov.
I didn't mean to blurt out the last part about me being in love with her. It just came out. I expected to see a look of surprise on her face. But she replied calmly."love you too Hen" what! did I hear her correctly, she said she loved me, but probably as a friend. I thought. Well better get ready I have to pick Amy up by seven and its was already 6:34. I sprinted into the bathroom.
