" we're acting remember?"

Henry's POV
It's been a great week, I don't remember when last I was this happy, I had spent my free times with Charlotte and Jasper and sometimes Pipier came along, weird? I know.

This morning I was feeling a little more excited like something good was going to happen, I went through my morning ritual and picked out my outfit for the day got dressed, and went off to school.

I got to school and stopped by my locker, I took out my stuff and went over to Char's locker.
C: hey Hen.
H: hey char, what're you up to?
C: oh...just going through this project for ms shapen's class.
H:oh yeah the project...
C: you forgot, Didn't you?
H: I was busy...
C: with your girlfriend?
I think I saw a look of hurt in her eyes when she said those words but she quickly changed the subject.
C: let's get to class shall we?
H:sure

After class, I'm walking down the hall with Jasper and Charlotte on our way to the cafeteria
J: so Hen, my bucket convention is this weekend and I was wondering if you would...
H: no!
J: come on Henry, I'm your best friend.
H:Charlotte's my best friend
J: harsh! You break my heart Henry.
He placed his hand dramatically over his heart, I smiled, I love this kid.
C: really, thanks Henry.
J: dude, you forgot it was just you and me before Charlotte came in the picture, you've only known her for seven years while you've known me all your life.
J: you stole him from me Charlotte.
I laughed.
H: we'll always be best buds bro, but I love Charlotte more.
I gasped when I realized what I just said, I looked at Charlotte and she looked surprised but quickly masked it
C: thanks Hen, love you too.
J: so char, how 'bout you? Got any plans this weekend?
C: don't even bother.
J: you guys don't love me.
C: No Jasper we love you, but I just can't sit in a room filled with bucket lovers for four straight hours, I can't go through that nightmare.
H: exactly.
J: I guess you're right.
H: come on let's go get our food.

I heard footsteps approaching and wished I had the ability to disappear, I knew who it was, my "girlfriend" Amy.
A: hey babe, how are you?
She kissed my cheek, totally ignoring Charlotte and Jasper.
C: talk to you later Hen.
J: bye man.
Some friends they are, they left me with this monster. it's been a week since the whole fake dating thing and Amy's driving me crazy, she's so clingy, doesn't respect my friends and treats Charlotte like her rival or something and to top it all, Piper hates her for some reason, when I asked Piper why, she just screamed " I just don't like her, now leave me alone!!". "Well whose fault is it?" my subconscious nagged me. Well the deed is done I just have to endure for another week and I'm done.
A: babe! Hello?
She said snapping her fingers in my face.
H: yeah?
A: ugh! Did you even hear what I said?
H: no, sorry I was lost in thoughts.
A: yeah all the time, you're always lost in thoughts. Anyways I bought us matching bracelets.

I looked down and saw that on her hands she had two similar charm bracelets one with the letter "H" on it, and the other had the letter "A" on it.
H: I'm sorry, I don't do charm bracelets.
A: what! Why not? All the other couples are doing it.
H: yeah Amy, they're couples, we're not. We're just acting remember?
A: yeah sorry I forgot, you just used me, you never liked me, I'm not good enough.
H: listen Amy, don't say such things, you're a nice girl, any guy will be lucky to go out with you, but I'm not one of them, okay.
A: so what, you want to end it right now?
H: no Amy, all am saying is don't forget that we're just acting, okay?
A: fine.
I think her voice is cracking, is she crying? Oh henry you fool, you gave her false hopes and she still tried to help you with Charlotte. The least you could do is where the Darn bracelet!
H: Amy, I'll wear it, it's beautiful.
A: really, Thanks babe.
She ties the one with the letter "A" on my wrist and gave me the other.
H: uh?
A: tie it around my wrist.
H: fine.
I tied it around her wrist uninterestedly
H: there, can I leave now?
A: sure bye babe.
Finally, freedom.

Boring chapter? I know. I promise next one will be better.
