Chapter three: Moving In & heavy petting

"No, not there!" Draco scolded him, as he attempted to hang a colorful Chudley Cannons poster on the wall above their new plush sofa. "Anywhere but there!"

"Anywhere?" Harry asked, suddenly very amused, he wished Sirus had got the chance to show him that charm for attaching things to the wall so that they couldn't be taken down before he died. That spell would've been extra handy since he was planning on driving Draco mad with his placement of things.

"Harry Potter I will not have a Chudly Cannons poster in our apartment." He hissed, re-perfecting a strand of his otherwise flawless hair which had fallen loose in the struggle.

"But you said anywhere but here!" Harry laughed, taking the poster and running from sight into their shared bedroom as fast as he could, knowing that he would be pursued by the frustrated Slytherin.

"I misspoke!" Draco groaned, tugging on his hair in frustration and contemplating screaming as he charged after the quick Gryffindor. By the time Draco had appeared in the doorway of their suavely decorated, mostly green bedroom, (except for a few of Harry's maroon and gold things) Harry had already stuck the poster on the wall above their bed and was cackling evilly on the sheets. "Take that down!" He shrieked in absolute horror.

"NOooooo!" Harry said between fits of laughter. He was collapsed on the beds holding the stitch in his heaving sides from laughing so much. Draco couldn't help but smile while he thought Harry wasn't looking.

"You're an absolute menace," Draco complained, flopping on the bed next to Harry, feeling exhausted from their long day of unpacking and chasing Harry around.

Harry finished his laughing fit and stared at Draco though his long lashes, knowing that Draco had a hard time resisting him when he played innocent. Draco on cue cupped his cheek in his hand and kissed him softly. "The poster stays?" Harry asked onto Draco's lips.

Draco shook his head, laughing lowly at his lover. "Never."

"Then a fight to the death!" Harry screamed, rolling over and tackling Draco on the bed, sending fake blows to his face and chest. It didn't take all that long for Draco to have him pinned under him, right where he wanted to be.

"No fights to the death tonight angel," Draco said, capturing Harry's lips with his. Harry moaned slightly because Draco was sitting on the growing problem in his pants. He flushed bright pink in the cheeks at the realization of the sound he'd made.

"I'm not an angel, I'm a Lion remember," Harry said in a cute voice, that he knew Draco found adorable from past experiences. He recalled Draco telling him that tired Harry was his favorite because he was usually horny, lacked a filter, and did cute voices. Which he had to admit was pretty on the nail in every sense.

"Okay Lion, then no death fights tonight." Draco corrected, tucking a strand of Harry's unruly hair behind his ear.

"Yes. Pet the kitty." Harry said, manufacturing some fake purring for added effect. Draco laughed and kept petting Harry's hair, producing more purring.

"If you're the Lion then am I the snake?" Draco asked, staring into Harry's eyes with more love than Harry had ever thought possible.

"Oh most definitely... Very cold-blooded." Harry sniggered, earning a slight pull to the hair instead of more petting. "See! Cold-blooded."

"Ok then cuddle me, Lion, to keep me warm," Draco whispered in his ear.

Harry smiled but he was feeling hyper so instead of curling under the covers he grinned and whispered, "Nope, pet the snake." As he harshly petted Draco's hair out of its perfect order. Draco grunted in disapproval.

"The snake doesn't like to be pet." He grumbled as Harry continued petting his hair the wrong way.

"But I want to share the pets," Harry said in his cutest voice. Draco smiled a sleepy smile.

"How about we compromise and I pet you until you go to sleep and you stop petting the snake." Harry thought about it as if he didn't defiantly want that, which he definitely did.

"Okay, compromise," Harry said, as they unmade the bed Draco had spent 10 minutes getting perfect. Harry cuddled into Draco's front and Draco began softly touching his hair as promised. "Little did you know this is what I wanted all along." Harry cackled softly into Draco's chest, as he began loudly purring for dramatic emphasis.

"Hmm, I think I can live with losing just this once." Draco murmured into his sweet-smelling dark locks.

And they fell asleep.
