she woke up in a dark room, laying on the cold floor with barely any clothes on, she felt a throbbing in her head, trying to get up, but her whole body ached, she straddled up, “hmmm, Where am I?” she mumbled. The only thing she could recall was, she was at the bar with her friends to celebrate her success as the new Vogue cover, "maybe I had one too many shots" she thought. "But where am I, hello! anyone there? this better not be a prank" she cried as she aimed to find her way around the confined room. There was utter silence. her heart started racing "where am? What happened at the get-together? Where's everyone else? Am I dead? Is this what hell looks like? oh, I must be dead or perhaps abducted by aliens that'll make more sense" a lot went through her mind as she tried to remember the events that brought her to this very moment.
She got to her feet, walked a few steps, and met a concrete wall "oh hell have concrete too? just great" she murmured. She sketched her way around the room and found the door "finally a way out" she struggled to open the door but alas it was locked. She banged on the door hard “Let me out of here” she yelled but got no response. exhausted, she sat on the floor and dozed off but was woken up by footsteps. "someone's coming" she sprung to her feet as the light began to peer through openings in the door.
[RING RING]
"Hello it's detective Smith speaking, what can I do for you ?'' The detective sheriff was already used to calls like this, the protocol requires the person to be missing for 24 hours before any report is logged into the database, but something was off about this disappearance. She got her kit and headed to Marian bar, where Brenda was last seen to check it out.
Brenda was anxious. Who could be behind that door? A young man with a rigid physique walked in with curved lips which suggested a smile but his eyes were hard. walked right to her leaned close to her as he ran his hands on her body which made her shiver, “hey Brenda” his voice so deep she felt the vibration all over her body. “How do you know my name? How and why am I here?” she asked him. “Well let’s say I’ve had a thing for you since you rose to fame. I’ve been trying to reach you but you know how you celebrities could be? I mean it’s hard to get a hold of you guys, you all need to be booked before we get to meet you. And you know I sent you messages on all your social platforms, I even called, commented, and sometimes followed you up, but then you shut me out. Well here we are now, I have you to myself and I guess I’ve explained why you’re here” He replied with a devious smile.
"Wait a sec, are you the guy who's been stalking me and making me feel uncomfortable lately? "She tried to recall the name of the person who has been commenting on every picture of her and sending countless weird messages. "You’re Arnold right?" Brenda asked as she looked at him with shock. (He grimaced at what she said.) “Is that what you guys call it now? A stalker? Oh my dear I ain’t no stalker, I go for what I want and you were not playing it cool with me so I gave it to you the hard way.” (He went down on his knees as he stroked her face with his hands to take a good look at what he had now). Take her to her room and make sure she’s taken good care of, He told his guard who was just beside him, only now did she notice he wasn't there alone. “ You better Let me out of here right now,” She said, spitting on his face. This irritated him and he slapped her face so hard. “Don’t you ever speak to me in that manner again?” He said and left. "well I'm not dead and this isn't hell she," she thought, letting out a deep sigh.
