Brenda had overheard him talk about staying for 2days. Perfect timing for her escape. “I want to get a new pad,” Brenda said to the guard who was left with her. “I thought you had enough for months,” The guard replied, looking at her sternly. “Well it’s finished and if you must know I have a heavy flow,” Brenda said trying to sound convincing.
The guard made sure she was properly locked before getting out to get what she asked for. But unknowingly for him, Brenda had everything planned out. Finally, Brenda's plans worked as she got out of the house and took heels to nowhere in particular but she kept running for her life.
A few minutes later, the guard got back and realized she wasn’t home. He was scared for himself because he knew certainly he was in a big mess with his boss. “I don’t think she had gone far, getting a taxi here is pretty hard and I know she would never find her way out of the woods” He took off in search of her.
Brenda kept running with her heart racing, the leaves and branches stroked hard against her skin. There was no single person in sight. she was scared that maybe she wouldn't make it again and she would be punished severely. But she kept running. After a while she heard a car honking in her direction, she ran towards the sound, She began screaming " Please help me Please Help" As she got closer she realized it was Arnold " oh shit he's back already !!!" she said as she turned to run back she was knocked hard on the head, she fell on her face and passed out.
Brenda woke up to see Arnold sitting beside her smiling deviously. "Nice try again, I told you not to try anything funny. Take her to the basement and this time no food, blanket, or water" he called out to his guards.
"Could it be him?" the detective thought as she recalled her conversation with the informant. "He's well known and respected, could it be him?" the detective said uneasy, but it was a lead she desperately needed. She grabbed her keys and a piece of paper the informant gave to her and headed out.
She got to the location written on the paper, there were no houses in sight, just trees. She drove a little further and saw Arnold's mansion. Excuse me, may I know the owner of this house ?" she asked the guard at the gate. "This is Mr. Arnold Williams's residence, do you have an appointment?". "No, my name is Detective Sheriff and I'm working on a missing person's case. I was wondering if I could ask him some questions" she replied, showing him her ID. "No ma'am come back when you have an appointment" he answered and went back in. " Hmmm, a house in the middle of nowhere, shrouded by a vast land covered by trees? perfect for kidnap" she thought as she drove off
Arnold got back home angry his meeting didn't go well, he went to the basement to meet Brenda. He tried to make love to her but she refused. He hit her and dragged her to the floor. "You’re mine now, this is your new home, this is your life now, better get used to it and next time I come for your sake I hope you behave properly,” Arnold said to her.
On the detective sheriff's way back to the town she came across some hikers just a few kilometers from Arnold's residence, she stopped to question them. "Hi guys l, sorry to bother but have you seen any Lady, 5 ft tall, slender, black hair, probably needs help around?. "we did ma'am we saw a young lady running and screaming for help then got knocked in the head and fainted. We hid behind the trees, we couldn't do anything because there were plenty. So we traced them back to a mansion a few kilometers from here and started heading back to town to report it, our phones don't have reception here" they responded. The detective sheriff thanked them and headed back to town.
The next day, police surrounded every corner of Arnold’s mansion. Arnold was shocked. The detective sheriff made her way into his house and searched for Brenda. She saw the room Brenda slept in, her clothes, and the freshly bought sanitary pads but Brenda was nowhere to be found. "Where is she Mr. Arnold, where's Brenda?" she screamed at him. "I have no idea who or what you're talking about, you barged into my home unannounced, you're so screwed, I'll make sure every one of you loses your jobs. Detective sheriff was frustrated, she was sure Brenda was here, but we're?. she thought of what this could cost her if Brenda wasn't here. as she walked towards the entrance of the house she noticed a scratch on the floor " a secret door" she thought as she walked towards it. " Aren't we done here, detective?”Arnold asks now with a little fight in his voice. "Not quite" she answered she found a way to pry open the door, walked down the stairs with her small touch and gun pointed forward into a dark basement, and found another door, it was forced open by other officers and Brenda was found lying down on the bare floor. "Brenda, is that you ? are you OK? oh, my World, someone gets me a medic !!!!!!" she called out.
Brenda laid on the floor cold, hungry, and tired. She didn't know what to do. She heard footsteps ''oh here he comes again, what do I do? '' she was too tired to fight back anymore. Suddenly the door broke open and she heard a voice call out to her "Brenda is that you? are you OK?''. it didn't sound like Arnold's voice or any of his guards, it sounded different, could it be helped? her thoughts faded out as she passed out.
