  【The Past And The Present

"Jungkook!" Kim Seokjin, Jungkook's manager or rather his boss exclaimed, anger and frustration visible on his handsome features.

The first thing Jungkook saw when entering the cafe was the ethereal man standing boldly before him. Jungkook was nervous but not surprised as this wasn't the first time he had arrived late for work.

It was during the early hours of the day, so the cafe wasn't flooded with customers as it usually is. However, it was definitely without further thought flooded with the scent of freshly baked delicacies and a chocolaty aroma with notes of vanilla-like swiss, and dark chocolate. The tangy yet delicate aroma of coffee perfect for an evening of  bants  with your lads  had managed to swiftly crawl its way towards Jungkook's adorable button nose.

It was satisfying to say the least to Jungkook. He was never going to get tired of the heavenly aromatic environment of the cafe.

" Jungkook, May I ask why you are late again? " Seokjin questioned the cute bunny boy pouting like a big baby before him. As much as he hates scolding the shy and timid boy, he is left with no other choice but to teach him a lesson. Yet quite surprisingly, Jin never went beyond a mere ten-minute lecture as a punishment for Jungkook. Since, the day he joined working for the cafe, Jin had grown a soft spot in his heart for the said boy.

" It's nothing Jin hyung. I just woke up late. Was tired last night." Jungkook nervously fidgeted with his cute small fingers. He had managed to lie right through his teeth about his bust-up with his boyfriend Jimin, well ex-boyfriend.

" Fine. I believe you. But next time please try waking up early and not being late again okay? Also I request you to go to sleep early at night. Don't overwork yourself. " Jin said in a deeply concerned tone. He knew that Jungkook constantly overworked himself to the extent that sometimes he would faint in the middle of his work. Yes, it occurred multiple times.

The poor boy looked so fragile. Just like clean stainless  glass. It felt like he would break into pieces if dropped on the ground. But Jungkook was already broken. Broken in the heart. He may look like happy zany boy but under that cheery and youthful smile of his lies thousands of broken tears. Millions of untold stories captured within his heart. Waiting.

Waiting to be told. To be spoken out loud. To be heard. To be shared. To be unshackled.

Thankfully for Jungkook, Jin had believed his white lie. Jungkook breathed a sigh of relief after Jin had went back to his work without bothering to inquire further. Jin decided to not waste anymore time as the cafe was soon going to be packed with people who wish to have a cup of coffee before starting their day.

Jungkook went into the changing room to change into his work attire. He checked himself out in the body mirror presented solely for him. At least that's what he thinks.
