Chapter 1

Harith's POV:

I was just walking back home with the supplies I bought for a mission we have tomorrow. When I took the next turn I had a feeling that I was being watched and followed, so I made my pace alitte bit faster and just looked straight forward.

While I was walking I heard a twig break from behind me and I turned to see who was following me. There was no one there again but I had to be cautious about this so I stopped at the bus station near me and I bought out my phone and called Alucard.

Harith: Hey Alucard. I have a feeling someone's following me. Can you pick me up?

Alucard: Sure Harith. Where are you right now?

Harith: At the bus station near the community center.

Alucard: Alright. I'll come get you, just stay there until I get there.

Harith: Ok Alucard.

Alucard: And be careful.

I hang up and just stand there waiting for Alucard. I had to be more cautious on what's about to happen. I look around and I don't see anyone yet but I knew I was still being watched.

I then hear something behind me. "𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮, 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐤𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐲~" I turn around to see nothing again but I got more cautious. And maybe abit scared.

"𝐖-w𝐡𝐨 𝐚-𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮?! 𝐒-𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟!"
I shouted and I got into a fighting stance and was ready to attack whoever is there.

"𝐇𝐞𝐡. 𝐒𝐨 𝐨𝐛𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐬 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫."
The voice said.

Why do I have a feeling that I know that voice from somewhere before? I shake the thought and just stand my ground. The figure appeared infront of me from the shadows and made me jump alitte.

I backed up and said "𝐖𝐡𝐨𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐭 𝐢𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐲 𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧." The figure cackled and went infront of the light to be revealed and what I saw made me more scared than ever.

"𝐇-𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐲 𝐕𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞...." Was all I could say.

Harley was the most feared person in the Moniyan Empire it's because he's a Vampire, who were thought to be extinct. Harley has been the one with the most cases in the Moniyan Empire. Once a month on the new moon, a person gets attacked by Harley and all that's left was their lifeless body and bite marks on their necks, sometimes with a strand Harley's hair.

Usually, before I go out at night, I always check the calendar to see if it's the new moon or not and at the worst time, I forgot to check it.

I was shaking from fear. 'Was I going to be next? Am I going to die? Will I ever see everyone again?' Were all I was thinking.

"𝐌𝐲, 𝐌𝐲. 𝐀 𝐋𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐧......𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚 𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐜𝐲..." Harley said as he licked his lips.

"𝐈-𝐈'𝐦 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭-𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐨 𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐲 𝐨𝐧 𝐲-𝐲𝐨𝐮!" I shouted even though I was scared.

Harley grinned and then spoke "𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐞? 𝐇𝐚! 𝐋𝐞𝐭'𝐬 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐬, 𝐊𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧." He said as he got into a fighting stance.

I put the supplies at the chairs of the bus station and I was ready to fight.

I was about to use my chrono dash when I was pushed back. 'Damn it, he's fast.' I thought as I get back up.

I then start to chrono dash to him and use my synchro fission along with my ult and what he did and said next would make me wanna run away immediately.

He just dusted off the dirt in his clothes and said "𝐈𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐝𝐨? 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐚 𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡!" I just stand there from shock on how my attacks didn't even make a single scratch on Harley.

"𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐢𝐭'𝐬 𝐦𝐲 𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧...." He said and that send shivers down my spine. I see that he was gone from my sight and only saw his hat just standing. So I get ready to attack even though it doesn't even hurt him.

"𝐒𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐱𝐞𝐬." I heard behind me and I didn't have time to turn around and I was pinned to the ground.

Harley then picked me up, looked around to see anyone nearby, and dragged me to an empty and abandoned building, while covering my mouth to keep me from shouting for help.

He pins me to a wall,I don't look at him, and said "𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐬𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐱𝐞𝐬." As he moves my face to make me look at his and his stare was so....demonic....

I could see the most bloody red stare I've seen in my life. That made me fear Harley even more now. "𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐫 𝐞𝐥𝐬𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮'𝐥𝐥 𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞." He said as he goes to my neck. I was terrified at this point. 'He's going to bite me!' I thought as I try to get away from his grip but he's just too strong.

"𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐲 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥, 𝐤𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧. 𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐮𝐬." He said then I said "𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐡, 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮!" I wish I hadn't said that cause I feel Harley's grip on my arms tightened and I just whimpered from the pain with my ears down.

He giggled and said "𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝𝐧'𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐧𝐨𝐰." And I feel his tongue lick my neck and I see two sharp teeth ready to bite it. I try to move again but to no avail.

I then feel a sharp pain from my neck and I screamed from the pain. I then hear a sipping sound and feel my energy and blood being sucked out of my body. I struggled from the pain in my neck. It hurts so much!

"𝐀𝐡𝐡𝐡𝐡! 𝐒-𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐩! 𝐏-𝐏𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞! 𝐈-𝐈𝐭 𝐡-𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐬...!" I begged as my tears of pain came out and then he started to suck alot harder and more painful than before which earned another scream of pain from me.

I move to try and make Harley to stop sucking my blood but that didn't even stop him.

I then felt like I can't move body anymore, my head felt dizzy, I wanted to pass out, my sight was getting blurry, and the pain from my neck still hurts so much.

I feel Harley leaving my neck and lets go of my arms and I collapsed but he caught me and the last thing I heard before I passed out was...
