My new Facebook friend Edrian and I have been chatting for quite some time now up until to the point that we started texting and calling each other. I really felt that Ed was really close to me. My feelings were weird about him because he somehow reminded me of Andy sometimes however he would still make me forget Andy. He was stubborn and yet like Andy, he tries to make an effort to contact me whenever I'm not replying to him.

After a few months of chatting with each other, I finally decided to Skype or Facetime Ed. It was weird because he was always giving me bizarre reasons saying that he was busy with family matters or that he still had something else to do. Of course, I was a nobody to him and I wasn't even his girlfriend so I understood his reasons.

April 17 which was my birthday already came, of course, I was head over heels for my crush so I told him that I bought myself a cake that says "Happy Birthday, Karol. From Your Ed". I then took a photo of it and posted it on my Facebook account, he commented "Binili ko yan ha, Love. For you!! ❤️" Even though in reality I was the one who bought it.

Although I was the one who bought the cake, Ed surprised me out of the blue. Edrian told me that he had a surprise gift for me which he had given to my block mate named Jasmine. Included in the package are the following things: a teddy bear cellphone chain, a Teddy bear from Blue Magic which still smells nice today, a necklace by which it had the engraved word "forever" on it and a Plankton stuffed toy. It was really quite peculiar though. He said he contacted my friend Jasmine Sabijon, who flew to Cebu City because she had to attend her Tito's Wedding in Plantation Bay Resort and Spa. The curious me asked Jas about the details of the package, I asked her if she ever saw Ed in person.

She then told me that Ed was sick that day and Ed's package was delivered by his friend whom she didn't know. Ed also told her that he will just leave my gift in the reception hall because Jas was busy with the wedding she attended.

To be honest, the story of Ed and Jas didn't match quite well however I had a gift so instead of digging more about its roots, I chose to leave it the way it is because I realized that instead of complaining about things which could eventually just make a ruckus between Ed and me, why can't I just be thankful instead?

So I thanked Edrian for the surprise gift. I also told him how unpredictable it was and that I was really ecstatic about it.

Ed began courting me afterwards my 19th birthday. Just like Andy, Ed would tell me that he loves me at random times and random places. He rings me randomly just to tell me that I'm beautiful. I never actually felt appreciated by a boy in my entire life before. A few his text messages were:

"Hi, beautiful. Have a nice day! I love you. Please love me back too?"
"Oi oi oi oi, I love you Karoline Obrero!"
"I love you forever and always, Love!"

The flooding of sweet text messages would still continue but I would just reply "HAHAHA", because just like always I don't want guys to think that I'm nothing but a mere easy piece of meat, I want them think of me as the main course meal that requires a lot of time and effort in order to get its perfection.

September came and the famous authors of the book Brunnstrom's Clinical Kinesiology came here to the Philippines for the reason of endorsing their book to all the universities in the Philippines, that were offering the course Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy and also because they would conduct a seminar training for a week about Sports' Physical Rehabilitation which would take place in Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino. The authors really encouraged all the schools to join the seminar training thus they were also encouraging students to join. Therefore for San Pedro College, I was one of the representatives who join the seminar together with Jasmine Sabijon, my closest batchmate in SPC.
