he never gave them a rest. every single game with him. they all lost. and he stuck to his word, which they all deeply respected. slightly feared. nonetheless made them practice extra hard

this, plus exam studying gave them a headache. it was so fucking bad, taehyung complained about developing insomnia. late night studies was aggravating

ever since their last game, the coach had been really hard on them. and now, as they rested their heads during their shared class

the bell rang, and they clung onto their backpacks, immediately running down to practice where their coach had set up a meeting with them

namjoon, a proud and genius leader had carried them so fucking far, they never needed the coach to guide them. it hurt joonie when his coach had called up for a meeting

it meant that their team was fucking up and fucking up even more.

the moment they stepped into the room. the coach had his back turned, hands on his hips, and his head was low.

"this was specifically for some of you, but i'm sure you all needed to be here." he started off. head turning, and glasses shining

"w-what is it coach bang." hoseok murmured.

"as you know. junior year is coming to an end and final exams are soon. it's hard saying this, but until then. hoseok, taehyung, and seokjin. if you can't raise your grades by the end of next week. you can't play in the final game."

the three stood up, "what?!" as well as their friends who protested

"coach! it's the final game... and it's, it's against.." hoseok was cut off when the coach held his shoulder

"the tigers, i know. as much as i hate to say it. they have one player that rises above all players. a strategist, with the best communication, lightening speed, and an accurate shot." he didn't bother giving yoongi's shot accuracy. it would've hurt their prides even more

they learned that his name on court was small kitty. or baby tiger

"we have to build up our momentum. and work on areas that need the most training. develop a better strategy too. you guys are good, but they have more players than us, not just their main weapon."

they all nodded, "namjoon, i know you can help tutor them as well as guide them to strengthen their weaknesses. jungkook, is one of the best players as well as a very good observer.

i rely on you two to help eachother and everyone else build up to their highest potential."

"we will coach." namjoon and jungkook reassured.
