Chapter 3: Worst day ever

"Mom! Did George take the car??" Andrea asked descending the stairs with a box in her hand
"Yes he did" her mom replied
"Damn it" she cursed
"Why? What's wrong honey?" Her mom asked
"Because I was to drive it to work today" she replied entering the kitchen and placing the box on the counter
"Just take a cab Andy" her told "Besides its better that car , only your dad and him can use it anyways" her mom added. She rolled her eyes in frustration then glanced at her watch
"Shit" she said but her mother didn't hear her
"Have some breakfast with me before leaving" her mom offered
"Thanks mom, but no thanks. Am already running late" she replied, kissed her mom  on the cheek and left carrying the box in her hands

It wasn't easy to get a cab around where she lived, so she had to walk down to the main road to get one

"Aaaaaaaaaaah" Andrea screamed as car almost ran her over
"Does you wind screen have quality problems or are just blind that you can't watch where you are going?" She yelled the driver of the yellow Ferrari who almost ran her over

But there was no response
She stood there puzzled, the guy wasn't even showing any remorse for what he did. She looked through the windscreen of the car and saw the man waving her to leave the road
"Excuse me" she said her crossing her hand on her chest, her face red with anger and green eyes sparkling. "After trying to kill me, you want me to get off the road? Who the heck do you think you are anyways??" She asked her anger reaching it peak dropping her hands the her waist.

Suddenly the door of the car flung open, the car was beautiful she admitted to herself but the driver, just ruined her day before it even started
A tall dark haired man came out of the car in a black tux exactly the colour of his hair
Wow she said to herself admiring the beauty that stood before her. The guy was a hot hunk, but the look on his face his everything

"Leave the road" was all the man said and turned to go back to his car
"Excuse me, you almost killed me and that's all you have to say?"she asked filled with rage, she thought the guy would be as good as he looks. He was clearly a hot guy but was arrogant, very arrogant.
The arrogant guy turned at walked towards her. " I said get off the road" he repeated
"I won't, not until you apologize" she said staring at him the same way he did her
This man was obviously a damn stubborn hunk, but she was as stubborn as he was. Maybe even more than he was

"Then I'll just pass my car over your bones" he said and he was not even smiling
What? the nerve of this guy she said to herself. Her mouth almost fell to the ground, shocked at the man's words

"So will you leave the road or not?" He asked with a smirk on his face
She rolled her eyes in annoyance then bent down and gathered her things
"So arrogant" she murmured when she was about to leave
"What did you say?" The arrogant man  asked. She could feel the anger in his voice. She turned to face him but she could not see his eyes because he was putting on shades
"I said you are so arrogant" she said giving him the same attitude he was giving her.

"How dare you?" He asked walking toward her
"Oh! I dare me. You almost killed me and all you and all you could say was that I should leave the road or else you would kill me .What did you expect me to say?that you were sweet and kindhearted? Well sorry to burst your bubble but you are so arrogant intact extremely arrogant" she replied angrily
"And by the way I don't have time to banter words with you so please excuse me " she added then turned and started walking down the road.

She hauled a cab and got in, then Ally and told her about the arrogant guy she ran into. Ally just laughed and told her to forget about and think about her first day at work, which of course she was already late for. They spoke a little longer then she hung up.
Ally was her best friend in the whole wide world. They met in summer camp when they were still kids and kinda got stuck up with each other because they had a lot in common. They also went to elementary, high school and college together.
She studied computer engineering while Ally studied business management.
She sat in the cab and wishing her best friend was there with her.

"Its your first day at work and you're late Andrea" Natalia said as Andrea entered the office
"I'm so sorry Natalia" she said. "I had an accident that's why am late" she explained the memory of what happened this morning came running back making her angry again.
"What happened Andrea? Are you alright?" Natalia asked concerned
"Am fine Natalia" she replied "An arrogant guy almost ran me over" she added trying not to get angry
"But am fine now" she concluded with a sweet smile on her face
"Good to know" Natalia said returning Andrea's smile.
"Please can you excuse me Natalia, I have to get settled in" she said to Natalia who just nodded and left.

Andrea found her office already clean when she got in. All she had to do was arrange her desk and make it presentable for work

She placed a family photo on her desk and beside she placed a photo of her and her best friend

"Hi Andrea" said her boss entering her office
"You scared me" she said her in shock turning to face her boss
"Am so sorry" he said. "Natalia told me you had arrived, so I came to see how things are going" he added with a small smile on his face
"Thank you sir, and I am doing well too" she said returning his smile
"Well, I have a lot of work to do, so see you around" he said then left before she could even reply

"You must be the newbie" a blond petite woman entered Andrea's office holding a file in her hands
"And you must be the oldbie " she replied crossing her arms around her chest
"Haha, very funny" the blond woman said. "Am Jenny and you are?" The blond  woman added looking at Andrea with disgust
"Am Andrea, but you can call me Andy" she reply with a fake smile on her face
"Andrea huh! Natalia sent this over for you. She said you should work on it. Its your first job to be done, so don't blow it" Jenny added looking at Andrea from her head to her  toes like she was some kind of alien or space creature.

"Hold on Jenny, are you my boss?" Andrea asked
"Excuse me?" Jenny replied
"I presume you are not deaf so I'm quite  sure you heard me" Andrea said .
She new what Jenny or what ever her name was, was trying to do and she was  not gonna let it happen.
"No am not your boss" she replied
"Then don't tell me what to  do. If you are not my boss don't dare order me around got that" Andrea informed making sure she got everything
"And oh, can you please leave my office, I have a lot of work to do" Andrea added and sat on her chair and started working not even paying attention to the person she just spoke to.
Jenny sighed and left the office. Andrea lifted her head and saw Jenny walking out of her office. She rolled her eyes and continued working .
