the sun is shining bright today,

in this day of may.

what news will it bring?

will someone give me a ring?

will that ring be of good news or bad?

will this quarantine make me mad?

or will i just sit here looking at all the sunshine,

wishing for someone to call me "mine."

will i be able to fix myself anew

or will i be boiled down to a shrew?

what will this may day bring,

with this quarantine in spring?
