Miracle Cassity was finally getting her dream job after a long 6 years of hard work and college. She has an adorable little house in the outskirts of Denver, Colorado, a boyfriend of 3 years...
I open my eyes to my bright room filled with sunlight and birds chirping outside. It takes me a few seconds to adjust to the brightness and I sleepily rub my eyelids, sitting up in bed. I grab my phone and see a few text messages.
Lizzie: Hey! I just wanted to see how you were doing?
Me: Aw thanks babe, I'm okay.... I actually have a date tonight....
Lizzie: Shut. Up. With who?!?!
Me: ......Dominick
Lizzie: AHHHHH I knew it, omg tell me how it goes!!! And jump his bones ;)
Me: LIZZIE. No, there will be no jumping of bones tonight.
Lizzie: What a shame :(
Me: I'll talk to you later and give you all the details later xoxo
Lizzie: Kk girl, have fun!
I laugh and shake my head as I move on to see if I have any other text messages. The name I see pop up makes my heart jump in my chest.
Dominick: Hey sweet thing, I'll pick you up at 7, wear something casual and athletic.
Me: You're not gonna tell me where we're going?
Dominick: Nope. See you later ;)
I roll my eyes at the text message and put my phone down. I stretch my arms as I get up to get some coffee in my kitchen. I look at the clock to see it says it's 10:45am, which means I have about 8 hours to chill and get ready for my date. I don't even know why I said yes in the first place but he stirs up so many feelings, it's hard to resist him. I don't know where this date will lead, or if it will even lead anywhere, but I'm big on second chances and he does seem like he's changed. I'm not setting any expectations because I don't want to be disappointed....but I can't help get more excited by the minute.
I go to my kitchen and start brewing some coffee while I turn on some Netflix. I sit on my couch and scroll through Instagram and Pinterest to try to get some ideas on what to wear tonight. He said casual and athletic...so I'm assuming something like leggings and a sweatshirt or a large t-shirt, but we'll see.
I hear a ding in the kitchen, letting me know my coffee is ready and I go pour a cup, using some almond milk creamer to sweeten it a little. I put a bagel in the toaster while sipping my coffee. Once my bagel is ready I take my coffee and plate to my back porch to admire the view while I eat.

After a little while of soaking up the sun and getting some fresh air, I head inside and do some dishes, start some laundry, and pick up my room a bit just to feel somewhat put together. I head to my closet and look at the options I have for tonight and after choosing three different outfits to pick from and setting them on the bed, I facetime Lizzie to get her opinion.
