Barry's POV
We are in the cortex.
"Yes the ultrasound is today." I tell the team
"Ok and you will be finding out the gender." Cisco asks
"Yes." Caitlin answers
"I'm so happy for you guys-" Cisco says but pauses
"What?" I ask
"Look down." He says
"Blood." Caitlin says
"Okay don't panic." I Say
At the hospital
"I'm so sorry but your having a miscarriage." The OB Says as Caitlin flatlined
"What's happening?!" I yell
" get him out of here page neuro." The OB says rushing to lower the bed as she took the defibrillator and brought her back as neuro came in
"I resuscitated her but you need to do a brain test." He OB says
"Ok." Dr. Shepherd says
I walk in and hold her hand and kiss it.
"Are you her husband?" He asks
"Fiancé." I Say
"I have to get her a head CT." He says
"Wait Please don't let her die. She was pregnant we found out she had a miscarriage right before she flatlined. I already lost my baby I can't loose her either not now, not ever." I Say as tears stream down my cheeks
"I'll try what does she do for a living?" He asks Looking at me sympathetically
"She's a Doctor she can do Neuro, cardio, general, and ortho surgery." I Say
"Ok this is resident Dr. grey my wife, she will keep you company." He says introducing me to her
"Barry, Barry Allen." I Say shaking her hand
"Meredith Grey." She says
"Wait Meredith grey you won the Catherine fox award. You are an amazing surgeon." I Say
"Ya thank you." She says smiling
"Any kids? Sorry I know it's a personal question but I need the distraction." I Say
"It's ok, and yes I have three kids An adoptive girl named Zola, bialogical son bailey, and a biological daughter Ellis named after my mother." She says
"That's great." I Say
"You?" She asks
"Umm Caitlin has a biological daughter named Elizabeth, but I adopted her so I'm legally her father. We were expecting a baby." I Say
"Oh congratulations." She says
"We we're past tense. She flatlined right after we found out she had a miscarriage. I can't lose her right now." I Say as dr shepherd comes in with Caitlin's gurney
