4. His leadership. One word. Cruel. He sent kits to fight, trained kits at 3 moons and sent them to battle at 5 moons. Most of them died during training sessions because the methods were too brutal. His two apprentices, Mosspaw and Volepaw died because of his cruel mentoring tactics. I mean, think about it. Two kits attacking another kit at the same time? Or kits fighting the rats? Too ruthless and cruel. He exiled the elders because they were useless. He drove out WindClan out of the forest to, apparently, 'avenge' Raggedstar's death, but we all know he did it for territory. Also, another apprentice died in this battle, Badgerpaw who was later named Badgerfang. Yellowfang confronts him for this and he just doesn't seem to care, I guess? Yellowfang confronts him for what he's doing, saying she'll tell StarClan about it and that they'll rip his nine lives away. Brokenstar laughs at this and flicks his tail at her, saying StarClan is powerless to stop him. How arrogant. He was right, too. StarClan was basically afraid of Brokenstar for some reason, but they did nothing to stop him 'cause he kept his promise. So after this, I'm sure Brokenstar sees Yellowfang as a threat and plans to get rid of her. And he does, by killing Marigoldkit and Mintkit, and then frames her for it and exiles her. With Yellowfang gone, it seemed as if Brokenstar was unstoppable. He emptied the ShadowClan nursery and then sent Clawface to snatch ThunderClan's kits, killing Spottedleaf in between.
