5. Brokenstar was pretty much unstoppable till Yellowfang returned with ThunderClan and an apprentice named Firepaw who was responsible for ruining Brokenstar's plans. While fighting Yellowfang, he confesses he killed his father and the kits. He did this because he already knew he didn't stand a chance and that he'll get exiled anyway so he just said it to gloat, perhaps. Later he launched an attack on ThunderClan to only get blinded and defeated in return. ThunderClan kept him as a prisoner and Bluestar renamed him Brokentail and I'm sure he didn't like others calling him Brokentail again. Or he just didn't care? Maybe he just ignored it and still referred to himself as Brokenstar. It must've been hard for him. Blind, a prisoner, far away from his home, not able to fight. And when Tigerclaw plots with him to take over ThunderClan and grants fame once again, it must've felt like a miracle. He did try to fight, though but was apprehended and then killed. Yellowfang dragged him to her den where she fed him deathberries and told him she was his mother. I'm sure Brokentail was really shocked and confused. He never knew his mother until that same mother kills and tells him she's been his mother all along. After his death, he was confined in the Dark Forest and he basically became its leader. During the Great Battle he murdered Ferncloud, then wanted to kill Firestar but Yellowfang stopped him, breaking his neck and he vanished into nothingness. Yellowfang must've been devasted after realizing she killed her son twice.
