Violet was walking home. The air was hot since it was still summer so she decided to walk instead of driving for exercise. The school day had been as boring as it usually was but she had powered through it. Even though Violet could have asked someone else to take notes for her, not even she would stoop that low. She had her headphones in her ears listening to Lana del reys 'Doin Time'. She walked in beat with the bass and she mouthed the words as she focused her eyes on the concrete. She looked up as she saw someone familiar in the distance. Her ex, Tom. She groaned and looked around for a different way around the guy that she really didn't wanna run into. She saw an alleyway between the hamburger shop and forever 21. She decided that she could just pass through to the next street.
She headed into the alley and walked quickly as it was rumored to be thugs and bad guys waiting to rob you there. It wasn't until she heard a fight ahead of herself that she stopped and pulled one of the plugs out. Her eyes widened in shock when she saw the ashy blonde girl being pushed to the ground and kicked in the stomach over and over. The girl was coughing and desperately tried to get up but to no avail as he kicked her again, making her lose strength in her arms. Violets impulsiveness kicked in as she ran and shoved the buff guy away from the girl. He landed on his ass with a thud. "Who the hell are you?" The man shouted as he started to get up. Violet realized how big the man was and in all honesty he intimidated her. There was no doubt in her mind that he could down her with one hit so she did what she found to be her last resort. She quickly grabbed the blondes hand and pulled her with her. They ran out of the alley, up a hill and into a well lit place right outside a convenience store. It was rather crowded so they doubted the man was gonna find them. Even if he did he wouldn't dare to attack them again in front of so many people.
"Hey Princess, awfully convenient for you to be here right no--owww!" The girl whined in pain and held her side as she bent over in half. "Pearl!? Let me see!" She lifted Pearls white t-shirt discreetly revealing her bruised side. It was swollen and red. Violet panicked and grabbed her phone. "First of all, let's get out of here so that sicko doesn't find you again!" Pearl was sweating and nodded to Violet. Violet pressed in her Fathers number and dialed.
"The number you have dialed is not in service, please try again later."
Violet muttered some bad words under her breath and shook her head. "My home is close from here, I'll take you there. If it gets worse I'll drive you to the ER." Violet stood on one knee in front of Pearl who was now sitting on a park bench. Violet nodded backwards and Pearl furrowed her brows. "This is a odd way of proposing, Baby." Violet rolled her eyes at Pearl. Even in the most dire situations she wouldn't let that attitude die down. "Get on my back. I'm gonna carry you."
Pearl blushed a little and shook her head. "No it's fine i can walk." She tried to stand up but the pain was like a knife in her side so she took a sharp inhale. "Pearl. I'm not asking." Violet groaned with a worried undertone. She could tell that Pearl thought that this was embarrassing but she couldn't argue against it. Not in this critical moment. "Fuck. Fine." She muttered under her breath and stood up slowly, grimacing in pain as she did so.
Pearl slowly got on Violets back and they started to walk home. It wasn't long but with heavy weight on her back it took longer then it usually did, not that Pearl was heavy. Pearl was actually pretty perfect, Violet thought. Her hands were holding Pearls soft thighs and Violet had to fight herself mentally to push away any perverted thoughts. She is straight. She likes boys and she most definitely doesn't have a huge lesbian crush on Pearl.
When they reached the house Pearls eyes grew wide. "Damn, you never told me you actually lived in a castle, Princess." The house was big with tall glass windows and it was surrounded with a beautiful rose garden. Violet didn't even have time to answer Pearl before her dad came out the door. He was a handsome masculine guy in a tux. Pearl could see that Violet's black hair and deep brown eyes came from him. "Violet? Honey, who is that?" He said with a concerned look and ran down the stairs to the gravel path that Violet was walking on. "It's Pearl, she was hurt. I'm just gonna help take a look at it before calling for an ambulance." Violet Carried Pearl up the steps and her dad nodded worriedly. "If you need anything, call for help. I can send Justine up to help you have a look if something is broken."
Violet nodded and they proceeded into the house.
