The tears were getting harder to stop from escaping.
So you took the dog to your room that you might not be in for much longer.

To anyone else that fight might have looked like a heated argument.
But it was the only good thing you had shattering.

It was 11:48 PM
And you had finally stopped crying.
You were staring up at the ceiling while petting the puppy you haven't named yet.

At the moment you thought Tony only got you for publicity.
But the public didn't seem to know, well it was clear that he never wanted you.
You were foolish to think that you were something to him. You hadn't even known him for that long.
You had known him for about 2 to 3 months at most. It might seem like a lot but it isn't.

And you have to leave this place,
The people here were kind to you.
Your time here was wonderful, but

"Now I'm leaving"

You say with a quivering lip

Tony's PVO

I had just told pepper about yelling at Y/n

"Tony you need sleep it's 1 in the morning!"
When she spoke she sounded concerned
She started again
"So you messed up.."
She paused to look at me, she sighed and continued
"She is probably asleep, so in the morning you can apologize."
She finishes
"Good night Tony!"
She then says
"I am not sacrificing my sleep for yours."
She leaves and once her footsteps fade I turn back on ACDC

Your POV

You hear ACDC blasting from Tony's lab.
But that's not your problem.
It's 1:58 in the morning now so that means that today is the day you take the puppy to the shelter.
But you don't want to do anything or go anywhere. So you aren't, maybe you will when you don't feel like shit.
He could have told you in a different way than the way he did.

So now he gonna have to wait till you come to terms with what he said.

Time skip

The next day was quiet and when you saw Tony you didn't speak.
Right now happy is driving you to the animal shelter.
"And here we are!"
He gave you an emphatic smile
"Thanks"
You half-smiled
You got out of the car with the puppy and walked towards the building.
You go in and everything else is a blur.
All you know is you don't have the puppy anymore.
You and Happy are quite on the ride back to the stark tower.
When you arrive you wave goodbye to happy and go to the elevator.
when the elevator stops at your floor you see tony. You don't give him a second to speak as you walk away.

The following days went like this
You ignored tony all day and stayed in your room most of the time.
Sometimes Happy or one of the avengers drops bye and take you food and talks to you.
After a week of this routine, you started to get out of your room but still ignored Tony.
By week two you would barely talk to Tony.
And today you were having an actual conversation.
"So...um... I am going to an interview..."
Oh no you thought
"And we have it scheduled that I will speak about you staying with me."
He calmly speaks
"Is that ok with you?"
He asks
"Yeah"
You simply replied
"Ok, thank you"
He smiled
"I'll be gone during dinner, so I have invited Peter to stay for the night, ok?"
You respond with
"Ok"
Then he leaves

Ok, so Peter had come over a little before dinner. So you were telling him about what Mr. Stark said.
"Hm.. maybe he had a bad day, or he was scared that something might happen to you!"
You pushed your face deeper into your legs.
The TV was on so we could watch the interview with Mr. Stark.
And Pepper was ordering pizza for us.
Speaking of the interview, the reporter asks a question about Mr. Stark taking care of you because they were on the topic.
He made a joke about you staying or not, which made everyone laugh.

A little while later the pizza arrived and the interview soon stopped.
And pepper was going with happy to pick up Mr. Stark.
"You guys can eat upstairs as long as you don't make a mess!"
She said and you guys nodded as she muttered something along the lines of
God damn I already sound like a mother
Under her Breath. which you and peter found funny.
You and peter finished your pizza and then went upstairs.
Once you guys where in your room Peter asked a question
"Hey tell me something I don't know about you!"
He said. But you had to think about this one
"Ok,..hm..oh! Whenever someone yells at me I feel a piece of my soul dying!"
You say ever so calmly
"Oh..uh..well I mean something less degrading."
You nodded your head
"Ok....well I don't know if this would count but it's the only thing I can think of."
You took a deep breath
"I have a soulmate, but I haven't found them yet."
You said rushed
He smiled wildly at you then proceeded to explain that he was in the same boat.

You guys decided to stop that game after you both tied at not having your birth parents alive.
And then watched some more star wars which lead to you sleepy talking.
Oh no!
"Hey, Pete!"
You say abruptly
"Yeah?"
He replied
"I think Mr. Stark is shipping me back to the orphanage."
You made a sad sleepy face
"No, I doubt it."
Peter retaliated
"You wanna know something else!"
You said as if you where drunken
"Sure?"
Peter responded unsurely
"I think my soulmate is...."
Peter wanted to know
"Is...who?"
He egged on
"Oh..none much... just spider-child..."
He was speechless,
For one she got the name wrong!
And for two his soulmate was sitting right next to him watching star wars!
"Anyway, I got to go to bed...I can't spill any more of my secrets!"
She slurred out of sleep deprivation
She then proceeded to fall asleep on his arm.
'Oh shit!'
Where Peter's thoughts

He went to think somewhere else so he didn't wake you up.
He needed to tell someone.
And who better than Ned, but 2:25 in the morning.

So there the two soulmates have finally figured it out, sorta.
And there is one lonely (Y/N) sleeping upright on a bed watching star wars.
And then there's peter standing all alone on a roof debating on calling Ned or not, but to bystanders, it might look like someone about to jump off a building.
