I woke up to the blinding lights of what looked to be a hospital of some sorts. I sat up in bed and noticed Mammon is sitting in the chair beside my bed.
"Mammon? What happened and where am I?" The last thing I remember was us running to the Student Council room.
"Good you're finally awake" he let out a sigh "We were running and you suddenly collapsed, so I carried you here, to the nurse's office."
As I'm about to thank him, the nurse walks into the room.
"Miss Y/N, I'm glad to see that you're awake. I need to do some quick tests before i send you back to your class ok? Just some small things like temperature and blood pressure."
I let the nurse do some tests on me. Everything shows up normal so she sends me back to class. Mammon comes with me.
"What happened? Do you know why you passed out?"
"I was probably just hungry." I had to skip breakfast that morning because by the time I woke up, Beel had eaten my serving of food.
"You really need to start taking better care of yourself you know..." He looks at his watch. "It's almost time for school to end, let's just head back to the house of lamentation."
"I need to go pick up my stuff from the classroom. You can go on without me."
I start to walk away when he grabs my hand. "I called Satan and asked him to grab your stuff for you. You need to go rest and get something to eat."
We head back to the house together, never letting go of each-others hand. Maybe it was the sleepiness, but I didn't want to let go of his hand. I wonder if he felt the same way.
He walked me all the way to my room, making sure that I was safe inside before he closed the door.
