Chapter 7

End of last chapter: Before I made it far I heard commotion behind me. I turned around to see a swarm of Rafe and his Kooks. What were they doing? They all started running all of a sudden. I caught a very small glimpse of what they were chasing. I knew that blonde hair well. JJ was here and about to get his ass beaten by Kooks.

My feet moved quicker then my brain seemed to be. I started running after JJ, which is not easy in heels I might add. I was so worried about him even if I had tried to be optimistic. I hadn't seen him in forever and it was just good to know he was okay. He might not be if I didn't get to him soon.

I continued to run through the freakishly large party house following the places that had signs of the boys. This included upset adults, knocked over furniture, and loud noises. I couldn't keep up, they were faster and were wearing runnable shoes. Very unfair.

I followed the yelling and reached the men's bathroom. "Shit" I muttered under my breath. I didn't have much of a choice. I would either stand outside like an idiot and let him get his ass beat, or go in and try to help. I gathered my breath and thoughts for a moment before walking in.

"I'm sorry" I kept repeating as I covered my eyes and made my way through the bathroom. Finally I passed all the old men and found a parlor in the bathroom. There was JJ being held down by the Kooks and Rafe standing in front of JJ, taunting him. That's a scene I was already sick of seeing

JJ was the first to notice me, his eyes widened in surprise that I was there. Before anyone else could notice me, I approached the guys holding him down.

Without hesitation I dead legged the first guys and shoved him to the floor before as JJ squirmed out of the other ones reach.

"Run JJ" I yelled as I punched his other captor. He began to run as I said but then I felt Rafe wrap an arm around my waist and lift me off the ground. He held me firmly against him until I couldn't move. This made JJ pause.

"JJ go! I'm fine" I yelled, aggravated that he was still trying to protect me.

"Doesn't she look hot for a Pogue?" Rafe taunted. His words made JJ turn around slowly and charge at us. Rafe's dumb ass body guards were quick to grab him and slam him against the wall. Why couldn't the sweet Rafe be the one here with me right now? Instead I was back to dealing with douche bag Rafe that enjoyed watching JJ and I suffer.

"Rafe just let him go" I sighed as I struggled against his grip.
"What do you even need with him?" I asked. JJ couldn't take too many more hits. Things were bad enough for him at home.

"It's all about the revenge Kenna" He said against my neck. He nodded and one of his goons punched JJ hard across the face. I whimpered and pushed against him, trying to get to JJ.

"Rafe let's make a deal or something, just let him go" I pleaded.

"I think you must have forgotten, but you don't make the rules around here Ken" Rafe said nodding again as the Kooks punched JJ hard across the jaw for a second time.

"I'm gonna scream" I said before beginning the loudest scream I'd ever mustered up. It was cut off too soon as Rafe shoved me up against the wall and wrapped his hand around my mouth, forcing me to shut up. Luckily he wasn't quick enough as the security guard walked into the room.

Rafe dropped his hand from my mouth and wrapped it around my wrist. He let me down from the wall before the guard could notice what was happening.

"What's going on in here?" asked the man.

"We've got an issue" smirked JJ "there's a criminal trespass in here. Beep call it in right? Blatant disrespect of property. I'm in violation of all kinds of shit sir." He laughed and winked at me before continuing. I rolled my eyes back.

"You should escort me out sir. You got me" he shrugged, offering his hands.

"Whatever" the gaurd sighed while taking JJ with him. He paused and turned to me.
"A lady should not be in the men's room" he said harshly.

"Very good point sir" I agreed, "Perhaps you should escort me out as well" I said as I held me hands up and walked toward JJ and the guard.

Rafe grabbed my wrist and turned me toward him.
"Don't worry officer, I'll help her get out" he said reassuringly. My heart dropped, who knew what the fuck Rafe would do.

"All right, you can all follow me." The officer finished. He lead the way with JJ and the other Kooks followed him out. I tried to move with them but Rafe stood firmly and unmoving.

As soon as everyone was out he pinned me against the wall again and got close to my face.
"What the fuck was that Ken?" he said aggressively. "Don't you ever dare defy me again. You must have forgotten that your actions have consequences" he said as his eyes scanned my body. My heart was hammering.

"I'm not your slave Rafe" I said pushing him off of me slightly. He came back with more force and placed his hand against my back. He pulled me off the wall into his chest.

"I'll make you wish you were" he growled before pressing his lips against mine passionately. I gasped in surprise at the deep kiss. He kept going until we were both out of breath before pulling away.

"Get out of here" He panted. I started to walk away and he followed with his hand on my back. Walking out of the bathroom back toward the party I heard more commotion. What the hell was JJ doing now?

I looked to my left to see JJ with John B and Pope. My heart leapt with joy at the sight of the Pogues back together. They all started yelling my name and I was about to run toward the before I would take more than a step Rafe grabbed my wrist and turned me to face him.

"Don't you dare think about going to be with them." He demanded.

"Make me" I said as I stomped on his foot and ran towards the Pogues.

"I'll make you regret that" he yelled after me. I knew he was probably right, but I would have to deal with that later.
