Characters: Kol Mikaelson x reader

You walked hurriedly in the direction of the Mikaelson compound. Kol Mikaelson had called you two days ago and asked you to come to New Orleans as soon as possible. And you did. You were packed and ready for the airport in half an hour. Leaving your life in the middle for anyone was not your character. But this was your best friend and your Sire. Turning you into a vampire, Kol had saved your life. You would always be grateful for it. Hell, you would take a stake for him. But he didn't have to know that. There was no need of boosting his already big ego.

You entered the compound and used your advanced senses to find Kol. Instead, you sensed your second favorite Mikaelson, Elijah. Hearing someone entering the compound he had come out to check. There was a big smile on his face when his eyes found you. You both hugged and greeted each other.

"Well you look handsome as ever"

"And you look beautiful as always, darling Y/N.," he said

When Kol returned from his hunting trip, he heard the sound of laughter coming from the kitchen. He followed the sound into the kitchen and found Elijah cooking while Y/N watched him. They both were laughing about something. Watching his brother with
Y/N made Kol's blood start to boil with jealousy. He controlled himself somewhat and let them know about his presence.

"What's going on here?"

Both Y/N and Elijah turned to see him standing at the kitchen door. Y/N rose from her seat to hug him. Elijah had a slight smirk on his face. Kol knew his brother was teasing him.

"We were just talking Elijah has been filling me up, There has been a lot of things happening with you guys since I saw you last. How long was that?" Y/N told him. Before he could reply, Elijah answered her question.

"More than 120 years. I could give you the exact figure but I am not sure you want me to."
"You know me well Elijah. I am impressed." She turned to and Kol said, "At least he used to write to me."
Hearing this Kol's lost his cool. He held you tight by your waist and was out of the compound within seconds leaving behind a very smug-looking Elijah.

You were in an alley somewhere when Kol stopped. He turned around so suddenly that even with your super sense, you were even startled. The look on his face was different he looked like he was struggling, struggling to say something. You waited patiently giving him time to put together his thoughts and whatever he wanted to say. But after a lot of pacing around, he vamp speeded out of there leaving you alone.

"- and he just left me there. I mean like seriously he is the one who called me he is the one who asked me to come and  he just left me there alone, Who does he think he is?" you were currently venting out to Elijah.

Elijah had a slight smirk on his face which Y/N was unaware of he knew what was wrong with his brother. He closed the book he was reading to stand up from the chair and hugged you he knew his brother was in the house and he was listening to their conversation, so he comforted her.

"Talk to him and he will tell you why"

And with that, he kicked you out of the library and locked the door. Y/n stared at the door for a while, trying to process Elijah's words, when she felt Kol's presence next to her.

"What do-"

"I love you."

Y/n froze "What?"

"I love you," Kol repeated. Still, she kept staring at him wide eyes and open mouth while not  getting any reaction Kol was about to run off again when they heard the library door open. Elijah walked out, caught hold of Kol's hand to stop him from running and closed Y/n's mouth.

"You both are so immature by the way brother, she loves you too." Saying that he pushed Y/n into Kol's arms and walked away muttering to himself. "And please keep things a bit down at night."

As kol and Y/n both bursted into laughter
