That's why I'm here, you said I'd be happy. I've been here 2 years, I feel the same. I'm still waiting for that happiness you said I'd have. I was walking and I saw this girl with white hair, she must be new. She seems different, I can't put my finger on it. Oh well, who cares.
(Time skip)
It's lunch and the girl with the white hair is there. I notice she has 2 different colored eyes, one blue with some green at the bottom and one full green one, how interesting. She looked bothered and left the cafeteria. I think it's because these girls said something about her. "Don't follow her" I heard someone say. I turn around and it's this guy from my class, don't know his name though. I told him I'm not going to, well, sometimes I lie. I followed her and she was just sitting in the hall. "You good?" I ask. She looks at me, smiles and nods. "Shy type huh? You can talk you know, not gonna bite" I said. "If I thought that I would be running now wouldn't I?" She responded with a smile. I just chuckled and walked towards her. I asked her what power she has, she seemed pretty hesitant but she said fire. "What are you hiding?" I ask. She looks at me nervously and just left. So she is hiding something. Now she's got me, I'll find out what it is. Luckily I got a free period, now, let's at least get a name. She was walking in the hallway, looked pretty lost. "Hi again" I said. She looked at me for a split second and kept walking. "Your gonna get more lost if you don't ask for help" I said. She stopped and turned around, "where's the library?" She asked. I just laughed, she looked at me confused. Jeez, she really is lost. I told her she's not even close to it, or going the right way. She just sighed and sat down. "I'll show you where it is, if you at least tell me your name" I said. She looked hesitant again. What's up with her, what could be so bad about saying her name. "Melia James" she said. "Mason Phoenix" I responded. "As in the bird?" She asked with a smile. I said yes, she talked about the bird, but was really excited about it. She's just a happy person isn't she? Hm, that's a good change. "Now will you show me where the library is?" She asked. I nodded but I added one condition, "only if I get to ask questions" I said. "Like what?" She responded. "Now you'll just have to wait and see now don't you?" I said. She smiled and got up. Then, we started to walk.
Melia' p.o.v
This boy is strange, what does he know? Is he one of them? No, no he can't be, if he was he wouldn't stall. Then why does he want to know so much?
"So, what are you hiding?" He asked. "Nothing, do you think I am?" I asked. He can't know, if he does who knows what he'll do. "If you weren't you wouldn't have ran away earlier. So yes I think you do" he responded. I just looked at him and he was just looking forward. My head started to hurt, no no. I can't have episode here, not in front of people. Shit. "Mason, I need your help" I said. He looked at me and looked shocked.
Masons p.o.v
I look at her and I see black and blue fire. What the hell is happening? She fell to the ground and was in pain. Soon I saw 3 colors, black, blue, and red, all different fires. I helped her into a storage room, but it was getting worse. "Mason find water and pour it on me, hurry" she said. She sounded so out of breathe. Her eyes changed to a blood red, I knew that wasn't good, so I got a cup I use during class and poured the water on her. The fire went out and she looked relieved. I sat down across from her and just stared at her.
Melia's p.o.v
That was close, I almost reached my peak. "Now you have to tell me what's going on" said Mason. "If I tell you, that will put you in harms way" I responded. If I tell him he could tell someone. Plus even if he didn't, they'll kill him, no one is supposed to know I even exist. "I don't mind. If you think I'm gonna tell someone I'm not, whatever your hiding seems important, so I wouldn't tell. All I can say that wasn't normal, to have 2 different type of fire is rare, to have 3 is impossible." He said. He's right. "Let's just say, I wasn't born like this" I said. "So what were you born with?" He asked. I told him red, which is true. I can tell him about the fires I have, but I can't say how I got them, not yet.
Mason's p.o.v
Black fire, that's not good. That could kill her, actual it will, one day. People with black fire usually don't live to their 30's. "My black fire isn't the one your thinking of, there's 2 types" she said. There's 2? I was only ever told about the 1, the poison fire. "What? Then what do you have?" I asked. "The fire of stars" she responded. She told me that it's the fire of space basically. I've never heard of that type before, this girl is strange on a whole other level. "Look, it's not safe to tell you more right now. Maybe one day I can. Right now I don't know if I can trust you" she said. I nodded. She has a point though, can't blame her for not trusting me. I stood up and put my hand out to help her up. "I'm gonna change my classes to yours" I said. She looked confused and asked me why. "Well someone's gotta help you when you have those episodes" I said
Melia's p.o.v
So he knows now about my secret, sort of. Why isn't he running? "Why would you help me?" I asked. He looked at me, " I'd feel kinda bad if I didn't" he said. That a nice change, someone be nice to me without anything to gain. Maybe he's not so bad
(Time skip)
It's the end of the day, I saw Mason and he gave me a smirk and left. I just went to my car I parked at a abandoned store. I did my homework and went to bed. I woke up at 4:00 in the morning to a knock at my window. Mason? What's he doing here? That's embarrassing! Oh shit....he looks annoyed, I'm screwed
