Ch-6 Inking

After having dinner with Austin I jump straight on to in my bed and lie on my stomach. Openings my laptop I check my mail. Julia mailed the script this evening.

The file is taking time to open.

So, I brush my teeth and change into a mismatched t-shirt and pajama which I have been wearing for the last two nights. Yes without washing.

I go to bed and take my former position. The file is downloaded. I open it and read the first few lines.

It takes a minute for me to decipher that I am going to paly a man. And not just any man. I am Prince Henry.

They play is called ' From head to toe'.

Honestly, I feel a bit disappointed. But the thrill and excitement of the moment surpass the degree of the insignificant disappointment.

Printing the pages on my printer I realize that the poor machine is on its deathbed, probably inking his last.

I take out an apple from my backpack after I stop my car outside Boby's. Boby gives a warm smile from the counter while I sit at my usual place.

I take my time to take my notebooks to do the pending schoolwork. This has become my new routine. Coming home from the Garage everyday tires me. I'm too stressed out to do my studies then.

All of a sudden a person dashes to me towards my tables and sits in the chair opposite me. The person, whom I'm acquainted with Aiden makes himself comfortable in the chair and says "Hey!"

"What are you doing here?" I ask him.

"Okay first tell me your name," Aiden says.

"What are you doing here?"

"What is your name?" Aiden's eyebrows come together.

"Damn it, first you tell me why are you sitting  here?"

"Calm down. I just wanted to talk. It's a little embarrassing to not know who was watching me with goo-goo eyes."

"What! Goo-goo...seriously goo-goo eyes. Why do you keep saying that? I was just looking  at the nerd in the library who was reading as no one exists."

"I'm not a nerd."

"You are"

"No..."

"Oh please!"

"Reading books doesn't make me a nerd. And you are calling me a nerd when you are the one who is studying in a restaurant."

"That doesn't mean I'm a nerd"

"Oh please!" He micks me and give me a look.

I sigh and ask him " What are you tell me your purpose of your sudden special appearance? "

"Ya that, I just wanted to know your name. Boby said you come here often after school."

"Didn't Boby said what's my name?"

"He did"

"Then what are you doing here?"

"Why are you so angry?"

"I'm not angry. You are annoying me."

"I am not annoying. I am charming." I lift my left eyebrow in disbelief. He just smirks.

"Why have I never seen you in school before?" I question.

"That's because I don't go to school. I'm homeschooled."

"Hmm, you know i never knew that Mrs. McCartney had a son before."

I get up to throw the unedible portion of the apple into the bin.

"Why were you there that day?"

"Oh, Mom and I had to go somewhere. I came to pick her up from school on but she was taking the time. So she told me to wait for her in the library."

"Why were you there?" He wiggles his brows.

"I got detention because the teacher caught me reading a book under the table."

"You are quite the rebel. What were you reading?"

I was going to deny and tell him that this is otherwise but I find myself taking pride in it. "The Woolf"

"Oh that, ....is so funny right?"

"You've read it?"

"Oh no, I've played it. I was ....."

"You do drama?"

"Yup"

I didn't think twice before telling him about the play that Julia offered me.

"That's a good play. You can tell me if you need any help"

"You will help me?" I am skeptical as I ask.

"You can come to my house this weekend" as soon as he offers he hands me his phone. I lift both my eyebrows questioning his purpose.

"Your number" he points at his phone with his eyes.

"Oh shit, I'm late" as soon as I hand him the phone, he gets up to go.

"Bye Lavender"

"Its Linda" I call behind him.

"Ok Lavender"

This guy sure did a diploma is getting on someone's nerves.
