Chapter 6 Nicole?

Amanda's POV

It's my first day at work. I don't know what the case is. I'm working with a client. I haven't met them yet.

Henry is coming. So is Molly, Tucker, and Mia. I walk into the court room.

The judge hands me the file. Molly, Mia, Tucker, and Henry walk in. Molly sits down at the victim table. Everyone else sits down at the jury table.

I run over to Molly.

"What is happening?" I ask her. She looks at the file.

I open it up and read.

Nicole Swan broke into Molly Greenfield's house on July 10th. She held the baby and threatened to kill if Molly didn't come with her. Luckily, Molly's husband, Tucker Greenfield, came in and called the police. Nicole then pleaded that she didn't do that.

I gasp at this. I know Nicole was crazy, but I didn't know she would almost kill a baby!

I look down and it says that I'm Molly's lawyer. I sigh in relief. I sit down next to Molly and everyone starts rolling in.

I see Molly's parents and Nicole's. They glare at her. They must be disappointed.

Nicole comes out. Her hair is messed up. Like her. And her shirt is way to low.

We don't want to see all your cleavage!

The trial begins.

"I prove Nicole guilty!" I yell at the judge. He bangs his mallet on the table.

"I agree." He says.

Nicole gets thrown in jail. Molly comes up and hugs me. Tucker comes over with Abby. Molly hugs her nonstop.

I feel a tap on my shoulder.

I see my boss behind me.

"Amanda, you did really good out there." He says. I thank him. "I'm giving you a promotion. Bigger cases. You will be working with our top detectives." I thank him again and he walks off.

I go over and hug Henry. I tell him the good news.

We all go out for ice cream.

Best case ever.
