Daniel adjusted his tie and smoothened down his hair. He turned to the mirror and frowned at his reflection.
His two day stubble was beginning to look unpleasant to his eyes,he needed a shave badly. That would have to wait anyways.
For now, what he really really needed was to get to Mexico.
He had totally forgotten about his interview.
Yesterday had been one hell of a day. The thought of what his day today, would have been like had flown out of his head from God knows where.
Bryan who may have accompanied him was probably too occupied with his 'Breaking apart' parents to even remember.
He needed to catch his flight else he'd been damned, and driving to Mexico would be hard work, plus,he'd arrive late still.
Diamond would never forgive him if he missed this interview again. She'd been on about this for months.
As the host of Dian's TV 'Meeting the stars', she'd always wanted him to grace her screen and this time around he was going to grant her that.
He picked up his car keys and hurried out of his room.

''Hey, Good morning.
I reasoned it will be a crime to wake a woman when sleep is sweetest to her.
I had to leave early (Mexico).
I know I'm a bad host and all that but please fix yourself breakfast. You'll find everything you need lying around just where you need them. I'm sorry I couldn't properly care for you like you will need me to. Please forgive me.''

                                                       Daniel.

Macy smiled to herself. She'd woken up with the piece of written sticky note plastered on her right hand. He was really a bad host, leaving his sick guest to make breakfast by herself. She would forgive him though, because of his pretty handwriting.
She glanced up at the wall clock and it read eight thirty.
She hadn't woken up this late in a very long time. The drugs she took last night must have contained some sort of sleeping agents.
She looked around the room and admired the interior. The room was very neatly arranged, nothing looking out of place. She spotted a pair of clutches lying against the wall and shook her head in disbelief. How did he manage to get that on such short notice?. She sat up on the bed and painstakingly climbed down, her feet making contact with the cold floor. She limped towards the makeshift closet which contained a pajama,a large grey T-shirt,an extra bed sheet and a towel;all neatly wrapped and carefully placed on top of each other. Did he arrange it by himself? She thought to herself.
She took off her clothes, wrapped the towel around herself and went into the bathroom. There she found several unwrapped packets of toothbrush and a small stool sitting by the corner . This man seems to already have everything planned out.
'Awwn...Pink'. She sighed and picked up the bright pink coloured one amongst the half dozen of toothbrushes. 'He knows I love pink?. Don't kid yourself, Macy'. She giggled and began brushing her teeth.

After taking her bath, she felt clean and fresh. With extreme hard work, she came out of the bathroom, took the shortest one of the gowns he had so angrily flung into her hand bag the night before and wore it.
She sat back down on the bed and eyed the crutches. She picked up her pen and diary.
'Everything bad and and ugly has happened to you,Macy. Now you're gonna add 'walking, heavily aided by clutches' to it. Then, picking up the clutches, she balanced them between her arms and walked out of the room.

The kitchen was opposite her room,so she had no difficulty locating it. The first thing she noticed was a tall upholstered chair sitting in front of the counter;opposite the refrigerator. The kitchen didn't look like it was owned by a man. It had every kitchen utensil and appliance she ever knew of. He must be doing a lot of cooking by himself.
A bag of chips lay on top of the counter and a plate containing few apples lay beside it. She opened the fridge, took out a can of yoghurt and placed it on top of the counter, together with chips and apples.
Carefully placing herself on the chair, she had breakfast.
After having her fill of the food. She went into the living room and turned on the TV set. A movie was showing,so she sat on one of the sofas and tried to force herself to watch.
After about an hour of watching but not actually watching, her eyes grew weary,so she turned down the volume of the TV and closed her eyes, sleep conquering her.
