the problem was that harry gets too attached too quickly.
he hardly knows this girl. yet he feels as though she belongs to him.
as a child harry had always been this way. it got worse when he started high school. of course, in high school, friends come and go, they enter and exit your life like nobody's business.
high school was difficult for harry because of this. crying when friends left, feeling ecstatic when he met new people. high school was a roller coaster of emotions and harry was done trying to hold on tight.
finally, after high school was over, harry moved into a flat across from a gated community. huge houses with pools and long driveways, people just as posh living in them. that's when harry first saw her.
she was in the driveway of one of the houses near the gate. she and another girl, a sister or a friend, were hand-washing a sleek, black, bentley mulsanne. the car was the definition of luxury. the girls were in daisy-duke shorts and bikini tops.
the blonde girl, who was washing the hood of the bentley with a sponge, caught harry's eye. she had a yellow bikini top covering her chest and matching yellow flip-flips. everything about this girl was bright. she emitted a positive vibe, one of sunshine and daffodils.
her skin looked soft, even from harry's view, a street over. her hips were sinful, perched atop long, tanned legs and two cute feet. a developed chest covered by the material of her bathing suit, and a small tummy.
as she laughed and threw water at her friend, harry knew he had found a very special girl.
i listened to the mamma mia soundtrack while writing this...
