Chapter 3: Disaster at Shizuka's House

Nobita: Man, this gadget is super awesome! What should I do first? While thinking and walking at the same time, his mind pops out I got it! I'll head over to Shizuka's house, I'm a genius! Hehehe

Nobita runs like a road-runner heading over to Shizuka's house, when he arrived at her house he knocks at the door. When the door opens, it was Shizuka's mother.

Shizuka's Mother: Oh hey, Nobita. What brings you here?

Nobita: Well.... you see. Shizuka's mother glanced at the chocolate box

Shizuka's Mother: Is that a chocolate heart? For my daughter, Shizuka?

Nobita: Yes blushes in embarrassment

Shizuka's Mother: Oh! How lovely! Come in! Shizuka said she'll be here soon.

Nobita: Ok smiles happily goes inside Shizuka's house

Shizuka's Mother: Shizuka said that she went to the grocery and buy more foods for the cake. She also said that she'll go to the flower shop buy something secret.

Nobita: Huh?? You really think so? His mind thinking of the word "flower shop" meaning Shizuka will buy flowers for Nobita

Nobita: Really? You really think so His face turns fully red again

Shizuka's Mother: I sure am! You may feel free to stay here anytime also the cake at the table is almost finished. The two enters the kitchen

Shizuka's Mother: All she need is the strawberries and it will rea- she starts screaming as she sees Pero (Shizuka's pet) sitting on top of the table eating the half portion of the cake. Pero! What are you doing?! That's for Nobita and Shizuka! Get out!

Pero jumps out of the table and runs outside onto the backyard and disappears.

Nobita: No! The cake! What will happen if Shizuka sees this?!

Back at Doraemon. We can see him holding a big basket of Melon Bread and heads onto Dorami and Sewashi's house. After arriving, he opens the door.

Doraemon: Hey Dorami, Happy Valentines Day!

Dorami: Oh hey big brother, wow that's a lot of melon bread. Is it for me?

Doraemon: Yep, it's on sale too.

Dorami: Aww, thanks. Anyway, what brings you here?

Doraemon: Well, I was wondering if I could use your Home-Economy Apron. I want to surprise Nobita's parents while they're gone for a walk.

Dorami: Oh really? Why did they gone for a walk?

Doraemon: Well, it's the Insta-Heart gadget I gave to Nobita, because he wants to apologize Shizuka in a confessive way after he forgot it was Valentines Day today. So I gave him that.

Dorami: Oh, I stopped using that gadget a while ago. You know, I gave it to you because I don't need it? Remember that?

Doraemon: Oh yeah, you mean...

Dorami: Yes, when I try to confess my boyfriend, Dora The Kid, but he said that he's allergic to chocolate (this is just for a made up, sorry xD)

Doraemon: Oh yeah! That did not turned out well for him.

Dorami: Yeah...

Shizuka's Mother: I'm sorry, Nobita. I don't think Shizuka will be really happy about this.

Nobita: Don't worry as he stands up

Shizuka's Mother: Huh?

Nobita: I'll be the one making the cake. How hard could it be?

Shizuka's Mother: Oh thanks, but we don't have enough ingredients for the cake.

Nobita: Gosh, darn it. What about buying it? I could buy a cake from the bakery.

Shizuka's Mother: I'm sorry but the bakery closed down due some unexpected reasons.

Nobita: Huh? I did not know that. What am I going to do now? I don't want her to see the half eaten cake once she gets back home.

Shizuka's Mother: I agree, but may I try eating one chocolate heart that you bought? That will cheer us up

Nobita: Uhhh.... I don't think that's a good idea. It's one of Doraemon's crazy gadgets

Shizuka's Mother: Why not? It looks tasty.

Nobita: Well you see, if you eat the chocolate in one whole bite, you'll fell in love with me for 3 hours.

Shizuka's Mother: Wow. Is that so?

Nobita: Look on the bright side, if you ate the half portion of the chocolate, the effect will never happen.

Shizuka's Mother: Well that's a relief. May I have one?

Nobita: Sure he gives one chocolate heart to Shizuka's Mother and ates it, while Nobita is covering his face thinking about the Insta Heart effect. Please don't let the effect activate! Shizuka's Mother: Wow, the chocolate is tasty! Nobita's opens his eyes This taste like an oridinary chocolate. Thanks Nobita

Nobita: Whew, glad the effect did not work.

Back at Shizuka, she is holding a huge boquet of flowers with a chocolate hearts while heading back home. Upstairs, Nobita saw Shizuka and gets worried. Who knows what will happen after her pet Pero ate the cake, so Nobita come up with a plan. He grabs one Insta Heart Chocolate and rushed downstairs. Shizuka rang the doorbell and on the other side, Gian and Suneo are going out for a walk. When they heard Shizuka and Nobita's voice, they took a sneak peek and looks at them.

Suneo Honekawa: Gian, look. Shizuka is holding a flower and chocolate. She must be trying to surprise her Valentines.

Gian Gouda: Yeah, I wonder who?

As they continue to watch them, they saw Nobita opened the door.

Nobita Nobi: Oh hey, Shizuka. Come in, I got a surprise for you

Shizuka Minamoto: Oh really? Glad you didn't almost forget this time. Well, I bought some chocolates and flowers for YOU, Nobita. I hope you liked it

They got shocked after hearing Shizuka's voice talking to Nobita. They were about to scream with confusion, but they keep quiet. Gian nearly laughed saying that he don't believe of what Shizuka said to him, he thinks it's a prank.

Suneo Honekawa: Wait a minute, could it be?

Gian Gouda: No way! I'm freaking out! We gotta sneak up and find out what they're doing right now, I need to find out more!
