"Hello, hello, take a seat." The doctor greeted you with a warm smile and you took the seat next to his desk, Tony not letting go of your hand as he sat beside you. "What can I do for you today?" He asked politely,"We're off on holiday in a few weeks and I know we need some of our boosters." You replied to the doctors question. "Right. Let me just bring up your vaccination records and take a look." As the doctor checked his computer you turned back to Tony who sat looking at a blank wall. "It looks like the two of you both need your boosters, however Tony you need both Typhoid and Hepatitis A vaccines," the doctor stated. He walked over to the cabinet and started to collect all the syringes needed. "I've already had them done so I don't need any. I just came for support." He chuckled. "You will need a booster otherwise your immune system will have lost the antibodies and won't know how to fight off anything harmful." The doctor replied, Tony was adamant he was due no more injections. "no, don't worry I'll be alright." You shook your head. "Tony babe, you have to have them done otherwise you can't eat whilst we are there." "It's no bother, I'll just eat crackers and shit," The doctor wheeled his chair back from his cupboard and then walked over to the fridge in the back corner of the room. He grabbed out 3 vials all containing the vaccines. You noticed Tony's leg start to bounce up and down as he couldn't take his eyes off the doctor. "I just need to go and grab an extra needle, won't be long." The doctor called out as he left the room.

You gently placed your hand over Tony's knee, it still bouncing erratically. You tried to calm his fidgeting but it didn't work. "Are you alright?" You questioned your anxious boyfriend, who was wiping his hands up and down his trouser legs and fiddling with the end of his jumper sleeves.  "Yeah I'm fine, perfectly fine." He finally looked back to you and tried to force out a smile but you could see the brightness of his eyes fall and the colour start to fade from his cheeks. "Do you want me to go first?" You asked, just so you could show Tony that there was nothing to worry about.  "D-don't mind." He stuttered and then cleared his throat. You hadn't seen him quite like this before. His nervous habits were common before meet and greets or an interview but he could control those nerves for his own benefit. This time around he didn't know what to do with the adrenaline that coursed through his veins. He wiped his sweaty palms down his jeans and then flinched as the doctor came back in the room holding the syringe and needle all ready to go.

"Go on, get mine out the way." You pushed your sleeve up and turned in your chair to face your left arm towards the doctor. "Are you alright with needles? It'll be a small scratch and you're welcome to look the other way." "I'm okay, thanks." You laughed softly as the doctor approached your arm, the next thing you knew Tony had left your side and was pulling open the door to leave. "I just need to get something from the car." Tony blurted out, as he flung open the door and raced out. "Tony, wait. It's fine!" You called out after him, but it was too late. By the time the door had closed you were all done and hadn't even noticed the injection had happened. "Sorry about this." You said as you rushed after the anxious boy, "Take your time," The doctor smiled. "It's very common for this to happen." He reassured you.

As you stepped outside the room you saw Tony stood down the corridor by the window which was now open. He was leaning forwards with his hands resting flat to the window ledge and his head tilted down. "Hey, darling." You spoke in an ushered tone, as you approached him and ran your hand up his back to his shoulder. "I'm all done, and absolutely fine." You reassured, "I'm sorry." He replied feeling embarrassed from his unplanned and unsuccessful escape. "Don't be. You're not the first and you definitely won't be the last one to panic and run." You continued your path over his body and stroked down his arm until you reached his wrist and gently lifted it away from the plastic ledge so you could take hold of his hand. "It's stupid. I know it'll be fine." He said as he focused on his breathing. "It will, and I'll be there with you so." You added onto him, still trying to usher him into the doctors room again, "You should have told me you didn't like needles." "I know, but it's embarrassing. It's not the needle itself it's just the-" His whole body tightened as he thought about it. "Even picturing it makes me feel sick, and I get all hot and shaky." You interlocked you hands as he began to pull at his jumper sleeves once again. "It's alright though, it'll be less than a minute and then we can get out of here. Come on." You took a step back towards the door and tried to encourage Tony to follow you, but he resisted your tug on his hand. "I really don't want to." He said as he pulled the other way, Tony was extremely stubborn but he wasn't winning this.  "Come on, it'll be 30 seconds tops." You argued as you pulled his hand even harder in the direction of the dreaded death chamber. "Please, not now. I'll come back another day when I feel better." He dropped your hand and tears pricked his eyes. "Tony. Look at me. Look at me." You were now agitated. "That's all you've got to do. Nothing bad is going to happen, just stand in there and look at me exactly as you're doing now and then it'll all be over, okay?" Giving him chance to protest again would only end badly so you turned away and went back inside the consultation room, holding the door deliberately open for Tony.

The doctor was ready and waiting but made himself look busy as Tony took a gingerly step back inside with his eyes wide with fear. "I'll make it super quick for you." The doctor encouraged as he closed the door behind him and then picked up the needle without Tony catching a glimpse. "Keep looking at me" You gently grabbed his cheek and shielded his eye from the corner, so he didn't see the needle. "You'll just feel a small scratch." The doctor said, "Just a scratch," You repeated the doctor's words to Tony and he bit his lip as he waited for it. "Nearly done, it's all good."

"There we go!"

"Not too bad, eh?" I questioned, "No." Tony let out the breath he'd been holding and you saw his shoulders relax. "All done." You smiled proudly at him and finally got a little smile back. "Have a wonderful time." The doctor held the door open as he let you leave straight away, walking quickly with Tony back through the reception area and out of the surgery into the fresh air. "I'm so glad that's done. I fucking hate doctors. Every time I come they make a fucking excuse to stab with a sword made for a mouse or some shit." The first thing Tony did was pull you in against his chest and wrap his arms around your shoulders. "You don't say!" You chuckled and placed a soft kiss on his cheek.

So I read the other day that apparently Tony is afraid of needles and coincidentally I had an imagine in my Sam fender book about needles so I thought I would adapt it and add it here. And please don't attack me as the other book is 100% mine, I'm not stealing from anywhere.

Also can I just say I love it when someone asks me to update because I actually feel like people enjoy reading my stuff <3
