~Time Skip (wedding day)~

y/n's POV

Welp, today's the day.

The day I get married.

The day that's probably gonna ruin my life.

The day I get to meet the mystery groom.

Fun.

I'm currently getting ready, with all of my maniac cousins, who are helping adjust my dress and do my makeup. As crazy as they are, they definitely know what they're doing. I don't look half bad actually. Once they're done, my mother asks them to leave. I already knew where this one is going.

"Now listen to me, young lady. You are going to respect and love your husband. When he asks for something, give it to him. If he wants to do something, do it. If he wants to have children, then make children with him. If he-"

"Shut up!" I screamed.

My mother looked horrified and angry. VERY angry.

"I'm not a goddamn object mom! He's not going to do anything to me or with me if I don't want to. He can kill me for all I care!"

"Shut the hell up y/n! I'm your mother, and you will obey my orders. Once you've been wed, you are his property. You will do as he says!" She yelled.

"Like hell I'll do shit! I've been doing every little goddamn thing you've asked me to do when I was little. But you know what? I'm putting my foot down. I don't care what you tell me or what you do to me anymore. In fact, I hope my new "husband" kills me. I can't stand living on the same earth as you!"

She was silent. She had no response. Normally, I wouldn't have outbursts like this, but I can't take this anymore.

I heard the music begin to play, meaning it was time for me to go.

"Is this what you wanted mom? For your daughter to hate you because you don't care how she feels about things? Because if so, congratulations, you've done it. If you can't even be bothered to think about my feelings, why should I care about yours?" I glared at her.

Once again, silence.

"That's what I thought." I closed the door behind me, and walked up to my dad, and linked arms with him.

I kept my head down, refusing to look at anyone. my veil was hiding most of my face, so the groom might not recognize me if he knows me.

As the music continued to play, I walked down the aisle, with my head still down. When I finally reached the altar, I was right in front of the groom. I was practically shaking, hoping it wasn't noticeable. I was so nervous.

What if I get stuck with a weird old man? What if I get stuck with a pervert?

I just realized a whole lot of talking had been done, and I hadn't been paying attention. I have no clue what was coming next.

"Now, Killua Zoldyck, do you take y/n l/n to be your lawfully wedded wife? (i think that's how you spell it lmao, i've never been to a wedding so i'm not 100% sure what they say at weddings)

Wait, WHAT?! NO FUCKING WAY!

I looked up, seeing that it indeed was Killua. He looked shocked as well. Guess he didn't see my face under the veil after all. He looked nervous and uncomfortable, and he was blushing a little. I'm guessing I was doing the same.

"I do."

I'm so dumb. How could I have not thought of that! Wait, is that what was needed to stop the feuding? We had to get married to tie the families together? Holy shit, that's wack.
