(Y/n)'s POV

"Do you think we should trust him?" Killua whispered.

"I don't see why not. He looks to be our age, and he doesn't ring a bell in my head." I sighed.

"If you say so."

The boy led us up a hill. There was a small house at the top.

"This is where I live with Mito-san and my grandma." He smiled.

"Mito-san?" I questioned.

"She's my aunt, but she's like a mom to me. Both of my parents left me at a very young age, so she's the one who raises me."

"Seems to me like we all have family issues." I shrugged.

"Yeah, we both come from assassin families. Our parents are insane, especially our moms."

"Cool." He smiled.

"Wow. You aren't scared?" Killua questioned, perplexed.

"No, why would I be?" Gon innocently asked.

"Most people get scared and run away when the find out we come from a family of assassins." I said.

Killua nodded in agreement.

"Well, it doesn't bother me. You can kill me even. I'm not scared."

"We wont kill you unless you propose as a threat." I responded.

"Yeah, we don't kill for fun. We killed because we had to. We don't really want to be assassins anymore, but that's not what we're focused on. We're just trying to get away from our crazy families."

Gon nodded in understanding.

"You're welcome here anytime. Like I told (Y/n) before, I'm pretty much the only one my age on this island, so it gets pretty lonely sometimes."

"I was never let outside at my house. I was only let out to kill someone." I said, frowning a little.

"Yeah, and I was allowed outside, but friends are a big no no at my place. They say 'assassins don't need friends, cause you'll only kill them in the end'."

"That's weird." Gon commented.

"If you think that's weird, then get this. My older brother is the one who's always telling me I can't have friends, but he always has some weird clown guy over at our place. He creeps me out."

"That's even weirder." I said, giggling a little.

"Okay you guys, let's go in. I need to introduce you two to Mito-san."

Gon held the door open for the two of us, and we walked in. He closed the door behind us.

"Mito-san, I'm back! I have two people I need to introduce you too!"

The lady who must've been the so called 'Mito-san' came over to us from another room, and looked over at us. Her eyes lit up.

"Aww, Gon! Did you make some new friends?" She asked excitedly.

"Not yet. I meet them in the forest, and I was wondering if they can live here for a little while? They don't really have anywheres to go."

"Sure, I don't see why not! However, there's only one guests room, and it only has one bedroom. Is that okay with you two?"

"It's fine." Killua said.

I nodded.

"Great! Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Mito, but you can just call me Mito-san. And you two are?
