Natsu's POV

I was walking to the place I had spent 4 hours getting ready for my and Lucy's date i have spent a lot of hard work on this because tonight has to be special and I know she will love it.

Once we get to our destination I look at her face and it's in complete awe. I smile brightly and know that all my hard work was for a good purpose the look on her face,..the smile on her face I know it was worth it she means the world to me.

I find it hard to believe that before I met this wonderful women beside me that i was nothing more then a fuck boy, a player,a heartbreaker. I can't find it in my self but to love her and never see a a frown on that beautiful face or a tear. I love this women and can't see my life with out her.

Lucy's POV 🔑

I'm looking at the most beautiful thing in the would there are many lights hang in trees and a dinner set on a table with a white table cloth (in media) I can't explain how happy I am right now.

" Come on let's eat before our food gets cold" Natsu says and takes my hand gently and leads me to the table he pulls out my chair for me and when i sit down  he pushes in my chair for me I say a thank you and keep looking around as he sits across from me.

"Natsu this is beautiful thank you" I smile at him and reach across the table to take his hand in mine and squeeze it

"Not as beautiful as you Lucy remember that" he looks at me with soft eyes " well are you ready to eat?" I nod my head and he takes the lid off my plate to see a stake with mashed potatoes and green beans and we both start eating talking about anything that comes to mind just injoing each other's company.

Natsu's POV

I'm so nervous my leg is shaking and I'm starting to sweat I keep having these negative thoughts ...what if she says no.. what if I do something stupid and make a full of myself what if-

In was be cut off by a an angles voice. "Natsu are you ok you look nervous and you are sweating and it's not hot... And the fact you are sweating at a is unusual because your never effected by the heat like... At all " she looks at me worryed and I smile softly

I look at her and reach across the table and grab her hand "I'm fine Lucy don't worry I'm ok I'm going to go get us desert I will be back" I get up and go to a cooler I had by a tree and get out strawberry ice cream I put it in two glass bowls I put something in top of Lucy's ice cream you know... The thing that I had to make everything special and I know she will love it thing ...yeah that one.

I head back to the table and give Lucy hers then I sit down in my seat she hasn't looked down yet so she hasn't noticed.

" I know you love strawberry ice cream so I got that for desert" she looks down and gasps and her eyes start to water.

"N-natsu i-" I cut her off I get up and walk to her and take the ring out of her hands and get on one knee

"I know it's sudden and you don't have to give me and ancer yet but I can't deny that I love you Lucy I love you so fucking much and I want to spend the rest of my life with you so ....will you Lucy Ashley heartfilia like to become Lucy ashley Dragneel and Mary me?" And I open the box to show the ring ( in media )

Lucy's POV

I was just there looking at him in shock with tears of happiness going down my face

But they was one thought going thro my mind... 'i have to tell him'

I take a deep breath and look at him "Natsu I would love to marry you I want to but...I can't " I wisper the last part but he heard me

"What do you mean you can't Lucy if you want to then you can ?" He ask confused

" Natsu I want to I want to become Lucy Dragneel I want to spend my life with you I want to have kids with you but I can't ...I can't because I am already in an arranged marriage my father put me in to benefit his company I have tryed and tryed to get out of it and I haven't been able to" I say and start crying harder. As he looks at me in shock.
