Claire Floyd has always been a free-spirited girl, even when she was young and started helping out various organizations across OBX with things like cleaning up the beaches and volunteering with older people at the community center. She never could imagine her life would turn out the way it did, but after suffering the incredible loss of her mom during a hurricane as a child, she was just happy she found herself in a loving group that she was more than proud to call her family. Problem is, while volunteering on Figure Eight, she got mixed up with the Cameron family and the Thornton boy, who left her to date the oldest Cameron girl — Sarah. With that, Claire decided to never show her face on Figure Eight again, which becomes tricky after her best friends JJ and John B enlist her in an important task: to find a lost map explaining where the money on the boat of the most infamous shipwreck in OBX went.
During which, she's forced to face her foe Sarah, learns more about her oldest friend Esme and the secrets she's been hiding, plans a wild treasure hunt with her group of friends and most importantly... will fall in love with Kiara Carrera.
