The Underworld is a terrible place for the only good thing that exists there. Even before it was a prison for damned souls, it was her cage. Because it has this sinister way of corrupting everything it meets; making its own twisted version of things. It tried to do the same with her. It searched out her goodness; exposed it, then tried to destroy her; corrupt her. But she resisted. Until her mind broke, making her eyes bleed black blood and her mouth echoed insanities; her desperate cries for help.
The illusion of a sky above her loomed with grey and black clouds as she ran away from the city; the center of evil. The place where the Cardinal Sins and other atrocities played their wicked games. She ran to the north where the black sand dunes stretched as far as her eyes could see. Her clothes were torn, her body was defiled and beaten as she sunk into the cold sand beneath her; wishing that she could die. If only Grim's gift of death could work on her. If only.
